Transfer Deadline Day Who's in Who's out?

If as Saint_Chqrlie keeps trying to get us to believe by repetitive posts non will come in, it just goes to show that MP's appointment on a 2 year contract, the promises of European football are just ****ing in the wind b Nicola Cotesé.

Note: Based on Saint-Charlies repeat posts we're bound to sign players. He's always wrong when he posts repeatedly the same thing, convinced he's ITK :)

I'm not ITK and have never pretended to be. What I have done is listened to what the new manager has said re being happy with the squad and no bids being placed.

Plus the fact that there are no rumours in the media, when nearly all other signings are linked at some stage.

Seems reasonable to me?

In for me, Hooper, Butland, Dawson and one other from Spain??!! I wish!!

Loads out.

Butterfield, Richardson, Dickson, Seabourne, Chaplow, Fox, De Ridder, Barnard, Davis, Davis (yes I know!), Tadanari Lee, Jos Hoov, Guly.

Are we trying to compete with P*mpey for the most threadbare squad in English football?

We really are not getting anyone in are we?

The only way I can see us buying is if we get a absolute pasting tonight and MP & NC realise we need a few,but then you are going to be paying over the odds as you are going into the last day

As if we'd suddenly organise transfers in the last 24 available hours You just have to face up to it, we don't really need any more players just now, let's see what Mo can do with those that we have at first. Maybe some untapped nuggets in there that Adkins/Crosby/Wilkins couldn't handle properly like Lee, Chaplow, Mayuka or some of the young lads. After tonight we have just 14 games left this season.

This is true ART, Saint Charlie is consistently wrong and also claims to be ITK. I get PM's from him daily with all sorts of ridiculous tittle tattle....none of it comes true. I guess some people don't have much else to do with their time. Shame really.

Heard a journo say that you should ask the following question at the end of the transfer window - Does the team look stronger compared to our relegation competitors?? Have to say against Villa we do, maybe Wigan, QPR is a no especially if they get Samba & Crouch, Reading about par. If someone is to drop from the pack - West Ham look stronger, Fulham about par & Norwich about par.

I think we need a winger with pace, but have been saying that since the summer.

I dont expect another signing and understand that there is no point in signing anyone who does not improve what we already have.

I can see some players going out on loan. Butterfield, Forte, Barnard spring to mind.

Would be surprised and a bit disappointed if we didnt bring anyone else in. We need one more attacking player to at least cover for Lallana / Ramirez (who've both missed a few - Lallana obviously out longer term, but hopefully nearly back in team), and Puncheon. Am not convinced that Rodriguez as the other option to Lambert is that great - hopefully as said above though, Lee and Mayuka might be a bit more effective / utilised.

Injuries to any of Lambert, Ramirez, Puncheon or Clyne and we're looking pretty dodgy. Hope Guly's not out too long, good to have a player who can cover so many positions.

Our squad is a teensy bit too thin, IMHO. Need cover in CM and LB if we can shift Fox

Replacing Fox and getting another LB in wouldnt mean we have more cover? It would be the same just a different player?

Clearly if we have one position we are slightly light it is the attacking wide midfield area.

Hmmm, not sure I agree with your assessment there. Reading on par? I can't agree with that, there is not a single player that I would want ahead of our starting 11. We are also a better side than Villa (agree) and for all of QPR's proposed signings, there is no one that is making me sit up an notice. They will still have to handle the unrest and ego's in the camp and time has almost run out. As for the rest, we are no worse than those immediately around us and should be looking to finish above Villa, QPR and Reading without much fuss.
