adysaint Posted 29 January, 2013 Share Posted 29 January, 2013 ...it will be the biggest waste of money since Lets look at the remaining away games: Wigan - will wear Red as too much white in Wigan's Home Kit Newcastle - ditto Norwich - possible - but no reason not to wear Red Reading - too much white in Reading hoops Swansea - No chance Tottenham - No chance Sunderland - Yellow as both kits clash. So far its 2 times for a £40 shirt...
Matthew Le God Posted 29 January, 2013 Share Posted 29 January, 2013 The club have already confirmed they are wearing yellow tomorrow. Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC We've had a few of you ask which kit we'll be wearing at Manchester United tomorrow. We can confirm that Saints will be in yellow! #saintsfc Might not be able to wear white, when Man Utd have white shorts.

bender Posted 29 January, 2013 Share Posted 29 January, 2013 It was obvious when they brought the kits out that unless they opt for the white to be often worn with the red shorts, it would get one outing - Liverpool. The home kit gets far more outings than our normal home kit as it clashes a lot less (eg Fulham, Spurs, QPR etc) and any teams left with home kits that do clash also clash with the all white. You'd have to be a bell end to buy this kit.
trousers Posted 29 January, 2013 Share Posted 29 January, 2013 Why is it a waste of money? It can be worn at other times as a casual piece of clothing

Griffo Posted 29 January, 2013 Share Posted 29 January, 2013 I'm glad there's loads of idiots that 'wasted' 40 quid purely so they can wear exactly the same thing at a football match as the players do.

Griffo Posted 29 January, 2013 Share Posted 29 January, 2013 which people have been doing for years...what's your point? Buy a Saints shirt if you want to buy a Saints shirt, but why do people feel the need to wear the same colour one that the players on the pitch are wearing? Why does it matter how many times the players wear it? Bit weird.

Saint Garrett Posted 29 January, 2013 Share Posted 29 January, 2013 I wear my sash shirt to play sport/go gym in. And sometimes on hangover days when I'm not leaving the house. Still nice to have a shirt which the player actually wear. Although I'm not fussed I'd e pretty ****ed if I'd spent 50 odd quid on it...

Why does it matter how many times the players wear it? Bit weird. Because the players will look into the crowd and see people wearing the wrong colour and assume that the fans are lazy and half hearted, if they cant be bothered to wear the same colour the teams play in why should they be arsed to put any effort in either? Andre Posted 29 January, 2013 Share Posted 29 January, 2013 Pathetic, no reason why we can't wear white against a team with red shirts, who the **** cares what colour the shorts are, this country has gone mad! #sillyrantover

But then when we go through the turnstiles something strange happens and us 40-50 somethings become immature teenagers again for a couple of hours, so I guess that makes it ok!!
