Got to say, I am starting to get slightly concerned that we've not landed any targets other than Forren. Ideally thought we would have a deal lined up for Punch by now too. Oh well, a week to go and a Friday story is probably inevitable!

Juan Bernat would be great addition but don´t see the substance in that rumour. Played great yesterday for Valencia coming on as a sub. Young and maybe not ready to play a big part yet but he would be a lot cheaper now than in a year or two.

Obviously I would like to see some additions to improve the squad, but I'm not overly concerned if we don't. This squad has all but matched Citeh and It's, matched the European champagne, Everton and Arsenal as well as picking up points from teams around us. The team is progressing, as recent form has shown. The squad is more than capable and good enough to consolidate in the PL this season. That should realistically be our current goal and then build for next season in the summer.
