DT Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 Pickled eggs will never be the same again following ottery's comments "I was working out there and some local chaps took me to see a lady called Juicy Lucy who performed in many different positions with lots of oil over her body with some strange props like hard boiled egg and a bottle of beer" on a cricket tour many many years ago, a light bulb was also involved. Heard she died though. ( not when someone turned it on, just later)
trousers Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 I've known Mark for 25+ years - he's a good man who's hobby became his career. Who's mark? (apologies if I've missed the obvious!)
Matthew Le God Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 Think he means Mark Forbes the kitman.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 His hobby is washing and preparing kits to be worn at football matches?
Tokyo-Saint Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 Maybe he really enjoys ironing. 2nd joke in 6 months! I am liking the new MLG
Hatch Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 His hobby is washing and preparing kits to be worn at football matches? There's some good videos of this to be found on the internet, if you know where to look.
trousers Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 @officialsaints: This afternoon we are at @FCBarcelona's training ground, the Ciudad Esportiva Joan Gamper. #saintsfc http://t.co/gFvm7OIY

Saint Charlie Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 With the reports Les Reed was at Coaching Conventions with Barca coaches and now this, I reckon we will have a couple of Barca nippers on loan before long....seems like we are trying to develop a cosy relationship with them - I doubt they let loads of teams use their training ground.

A next generation Ronnie Ekelund would be ideal. The new version contains a fix for back injuries.
Pancake Posted 23 January, 2013 Author Posted 23 January, 2013 Just waiting for the "Oh looked who joined us" tweet from OfficialSaints...
Dig Dig Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 I bet a lot of our players never thought they would be training at Barca. Just hope their scouts don't see the likes of Chaplow or Butterfield.
Saint Charlie Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 I bet a lot of our players never thought they would be training at Barca. Just hope their scouts don't see the likes of Chaplow or Butterfield. Butterfield will thrive under the new Gaffer. Apparantly he used to play with a right back at Espanyol which must encourage Butts.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 I bet a lot of our players never thought they would be training at Barca. Just hope their scouts don't see the likes of Chaplow or Butterfield. They looking for a new Arkala?
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 Wonder if we can tempt them into a Jonno Quick swap deal for Messi.
Smirking_Saint Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 I bet a lot of our players never thought they would be training at Barca. Just hope their scouts don't see the likes of Chaplow or Butterfield. Seap deal, Villa for SDR
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 "They're sh1t. Where's their Johnstone's Paint Trophy replica???"

Saint Charlie Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 Can anyone see Lallana or Fonte in that pic?
Saint Garrett Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 (edited) Was thinking it might be lallana with the ball...? Fonte right at the back? Edited 23 January, 2013 by Saint Garrett

Window Cleaner Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 (edited) Can anyone see Lallana or Fonte in that pic? Lallana is behind Punch, think Cork has the ball, right boots. edit, nope I think Cork is off the pitch over by the coach Edited 23 January, 2013 by Window Cleaner
Matthew Le God Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 Where are Barca training then?.. Training sessions aren't long so could just be at different times, in any case there are more than enough pitches for more than one team to train at the same time.
Saint Charlie Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 (edited) Lallana is behind Punch, think Cork has the ball, right boots. edit, nope I think Cork is off the pitch over by the coach I think Davis is behind Puncheon (Lallana is wearing green boots in the stretching pic). Cork is over the far side. With ball could be Morgan or Forren perhaps. Could be AL in the blue bib in front of the ball player. Edited 23 January, 2013 by Saint Charlie
Tokyo-Saint Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 Some of you really are border line stalkers.

shurlock Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 Watching that, you can see why we crumbled at Liverpool.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 I hope we don't act like that when we go to Old Trafford.
pingwing Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 Wonder if we can tempt them into a Jonno Quick swap deal for Messi. Must be why he hasn't been in any of the pictures...

dubai_phil Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 Pickled eggs will never be the same again following ottery's comments "I was working out there and some local chaps took me to see a lady called Juicy Lucy who performed in many different positions with lots of oil over her body with some strange props like hard boiled egg and a bottle of beer" If that freaked you out then strike Bangkok off your list of places to visit. You'll never be able to look a Goldfish in the eye again
Tamesaint Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 BWP and Dyer would be proud of that one Brilliant! Coffee over keyboard time.
tajjuk Posted 23 January, 2013 Posted 23 January, 2013 Seeing as Barca are kindly letting use their training ground maybe we should 'pay it forward' and let Pompey use staplewood for a few days? give them a nice tour of SMS etc. They are struggling to find somewhere to train. We're getting to use the training facilities at the biggest club in the world and pompey could get a go at the biggest club in Hampshire.
