Anyone getting this smell from the factory gas leak in France?

Yep, I thought it was just the usual Shirley smell but nope, it is a gassy smell.

BBC describe it as rotten eggs, sulphur smell ,but what I'm getting is more like a diesel/oil/fuel smell

 

Amazing to think that a leak in France can spread a smell over much of southern england

Unsurprisingy it's the gas that they mix with natural gas (which is odourless) so that you can smell it if it's leaking or left on by mistake.
