St Louis Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 Noticed last night how difficult it is going to be to start a chant with the new gaffers name.... Should we shorten it to 'Mo Po' for linguistic ease? (Much like Spurs have done with AVB) Could we have a poll here?

Give it to Ron Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 There was a bloke in the Kingsland toilets at half tme singing that had us all in stitches....he was well gone
Quickfire Double Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 I'm just gonna call him Morris. You lot can do what you like!
Frank's cousin Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 No, Cant se why fans are having such difficulty with Pochettinion... Potchetino, er Pochetinario...oh feck it 'Tino' wil do
Crazy Diamond Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 "The current manager" will suffice. You don't need to say 'current.' He is the manager.
Turkish Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 Some people call me the space cowboy, yeah Some call me the gangster of love, Some people call me Mauricio, 'Cause I speak for the pompous c*nt above......
trousers Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 You don't need to say 'current.' He is the manager. It's a great tribute to Bob Monkhouse though.
trousers Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 His nickname at Espanyol was "The Sheriff". I think we should use that as it's likely to irritate the most people on here...
VectisSaint Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 Is Mauricio really that difficult? It evens rhymes with physio so fits well into existing chants. So many are upset because of his lack of English (which is not as bad as some would have us believe) yet can't be arsed to try one Spanish word, typical Brits. But please, Mo Po, you have to be kidding. And please make sure no one calls him Pinnochio which is just so insulting.

Shroppie Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 (edited) We've got Mauricio, we love Mauricio ... (as the old Antonio song, if anyone remembers him) Edited 22 January, 2013 by Shroppie
Glasgow_Saint Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 I've got no strings To hold me down To make me fret, or make me frown I had strings But now I'm free There are no strings on me
Saint Charlie Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 I have been listening to talksport for a bit and though his name was "the new lad".
RedAndWhite91 Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 "Mo Po" sounds stupid and is cringeworthy. IMO.
Shroppie Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 "Mo Po" sounds stupid and is cringeworthy. IMO. Agreed.
Restark19 Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 There's only one pochettino, one pochettino. It works fine.

PoncyConyo, or simply Conyo for short, is much better - not at all insulting And it's Spanish.
Son of Bob Posted 22 January, 2013 Posted 22 January, 2013 Pochettino's red and white army scans OK too.
