I am beginning to believe NC's ambitions and the Liebherr bank account are far greater than we really expected, and for example, looking for players in lower divisions were not an option he wanted to pursue.

However, having changed most things in his reign, I wonder if the season ticket holders will be the next target, with a massive hike in prices over the summer.

Hope you are right but can't remember that myself.

It was shortly after Marcus's death, when Cortese issued a statement to fans that it would not effect the club - as Marcus had made provision for the club. He also stated at that time, that should the family decide not to continue, he had several contacts who would be keen to step in.

So basically we know nothing, but can assume that we are neither minted nor skint - I suspect we do have a pot or trust left by Markus, but not massive amounts and possibly more for infrastructure improvements etc, than splashing out on stupid wages and big stars. I suspect we will continue to look for younger players who could be stars like Ramierez and combine with the best of the youth... a pretty decent policy, but will only work if we can keep hold of the likes of Shaw - at least for several seasons and then benefit from their TRUE worth - eg 30mil instead of 6 or 7

Lots of empty seats last night. £40 to watch a game that is on sky is not good. Its a shame they didn't do a Laterooms.com for tickets, that would fill some seats. if for example you couldnt choose where you sit (obviously if you want 2 they could be together)but could get a ticket for half price it might help fill the stadium in such matches. By not being able to choose would mean that fans who wish to sit right by their mates etc would still pay the normal price.

Also people could stay glued to the TV weather forecasts up to the last minute to see if it is going to be too cold, wet, windy, sunny for them to go to the match.

You feeling alright? Bit late for you last night?

Just can't believe you didn't post the obvious.

Everyone can stay in the pub until 10 mins before kick off, use their smartfone and get in at half price
