Consistent. 10 of the #Zambia starting 11 v #Ethiopia started the final last year. #AFCON2013 #bbcafcon. Mbesuma in for Mayuka only change.

what do you expect, bloke hasn't played much football this season so far. Probably had his confidence shot away by a senseless move.

Be interesting to see whether he gets any game time under Pochettino' date=' when he's back from the ACON.[/quote']

I would think that would depend on whether MP wants to use him as a fast running point striker which he is or some sort of

half-baked right winger which he doesn't seem to be. Adkins did not have a clue what to do with him, that could be because he really isn't that good or poor recognition on the part of the manager.

Not much to judge him on admittedly but Mayuka probably had his strongest game for us as a half-baked right winger (against Spurs).

Came on in the last 5 mins against Ethiopia.

Didn't do a lot - he made one run forward and fell over,

he got himself into a good position and received a through ball deep in the area only to be judged marginally offside,

and received a long ball, did the Ethiopian defender with ease and over-hit his cross badly

And that was about it.

Sounds familiar. Still, he's not been given much of a chance, I suppose.

Watched the game as well and Zambia were utter ****, Ethiopia missed a pen and played decent football, Zambia seemed to think they could just turn up and win. Reckon Emmanuel will start next game as Colin's Mpsumpa only started based on his performance v Norway last week which was excellent but he was utter **** today. Emmanuel is too fast and already plays in the 1-4-2-1-3 for formation. Would also say Ethiopia had their goalie sent off in 39th min for a Willie Schumacher Kung fu kick, it brought back good memories :-)
