I loved the comment from Adam under the article.

"As a Southampton fan I am.....etc...etc.....pushing for the european places which the fans at The Dell deserves...."

But all in all a good article and the best line is...

But every one else can pipe down with their whole 'disgrace' bit. You've never cared about Southampton before and you never will again, so get off your high horse.

Frankly offended by the order that I'm not 'allowed' to be angry about the sacking. I'm the fan, I can feel what the **** I want. Sure the rest of the article was great, but I didn't read beyond that tripe.

Assuming you are a Southampton supporter then you should re-read the article. Its not very clear but this is the bit that applies to Southampton supporters differently to the rest of the world:

"People who actually support Southampton get the asterisk*"

Find it quite amusing that the person that wrote this criticises Cheslea's badly spelled A4 handouts and yet the article is so full of bad grammar, but then thats modern day journos for you.

I think that should be 'badly spelt...'.

Disagree completely with the article as it completely misses the point. The disgrace wasn't in sacking adkins, it was the manner of the sacking imo.[/QUO

So how would you propose the 'correct' way to fire Adkins and bring in a replacement while causing the least disruption to the Club?
