Pochettino - what can we learn from this TV caricature

Apart from Hoddle, I don't remember any other Saints managers being high profile enough to have a TV show satirise them! The assistant manager in the movie Mike Bassett: England manager was based on Lawrie McMenemy.

Can any Spanish speakers translate the jist of the jokes in this video please.

He said "someday, somewhere far away from here, some little pencil dic that hadn't heard of me two weeks ago will defend me to the hilt" then the reporter says "you must be kidding? You're 20th in the league with less points than Mark Hughes could have gotten" to which he replies "yes, but I've been so ****ing busy watching DVDs some Italian midget keeps sending me, I can't concentrate on this crap. Who cares anyway, everybody knows this city only has one team"

More or less anyway, my Spanish is a bit rusty.

We can learn that it's a really bad sketch show, with the main jokes about the accents and physical appearance of the players/managers portrayed. Nothing of any substance, sorry.

I hear he told a good joke about winning the fans over with honesty while having had secret negotiations behind everyone's backs ;)
Is this what happened then, Pochettino decided he wanted to manage Saints and began secret negotiations with the Chairman or Les Reed Or did SFC approach MP to say they might be replacing their manager and that MP was not to discuss it with anyone. If it was the latter, of coures, like any other unemployed football manager he should have told SFC that he couldn't be considered unless the club went public. I can imagine a few people on here actually believe that.....

Its obviously OK to be sorry, disapointed, angry, that Adkins has gone if thats how you feel, but don't blame it on his replacement, and don't do anything more likely to make Everton have an easier ride tomorrow.

Im not genuinely bothered by Pochettino's role in at all, he seems fairly blameless, I was just pointing out the ironic nature of him talking about honesty in light of recent events. At the very least a poor word choice on his part!

Oh good, thanks for letting me know what I can and cant feel, awful good of you. There was me thinking we all had free will ... you know, you can freely sit on your hands nice and quiet during the everton game, I can do otherwise. Besides I'd imagine events on the pitch will have more of an impact then those in the stands ...
