Not sure if this has been mentioned in any other thread but this guy is collecting messages to NA and intends to put them in a book and send them to him.

 

Nearly 700 at the moment.

 

Whether you agree with his removal or not, I think that a thank-you message would be in order.

This is a brilliant idea and i really hope he gets to see what the fans thought of him. Still totally shocked by what has happened and in 40 years of supporting Saints i have never been so ashamed of the club i love and support.

Posted myself and read about a 100 messages. Very moving, especially the references to The Man In The Glass.

 

The man is a legend. I wonder if we'll be saying the same about Pochietto in a few years. Hope we will, but somehow I think Adkins is one of a kind.

Ha, I think the site serves as that exact purpose as well in a way. As tempted as I wanted to mention club politics, I thought it best to keep it as a simple "thank you" to NA seeing as we aren't going to be able to properly do so now..

The ones about headphones by any chance, lol... swept through a lot of it earlier but will take another look... I couldn't find too many bad 'uns, think I've got about 12 comments in "spam"

Seriously though, I woke up Friday, thought WTF at the weather and told the wife she wasnt going to work cos I wasnt gonna come out and rescue her, then read the rumours, laughed and literally 10 mins after saying to the wife jokingly Adkins has been sacked he bloody was

 

Then I was livid, not upset as Im double hard but I was the double hard equivalent of upset weeping whey protein n stuff.

 

Not as angry now, I now realise most of my wronged feelings were for Nige as a bloke
