stevegrant Posted 25 November, 2008 Share Posted 25 November, 2008 Hardly surprising. I think this was initially mooted by Platini a few weeks ago because it's basically the only conceivable way under EU law that English football could be placed under restrictions that would prevent it being such a dominant force. Needless to say, it won't ever happen.

Saint Martini Posted 25 November, 2008 Share Posted 25 November, 2008 I'm all for it. Is there a more comprehensive explenation of the plan somewhere?
South City Si Posted 26 November, 2008 Share Posted 26 November, 2008 Spreading the wealth from the Prem to the rest of the English leagues would be a start, let alone sharing around the whole of the EU!
