Saint Fan CaM Posted 19 January, 2013 Share Posted 19 January, 2013 Yeah - had a chat. He says don't worry he'll be fine - he'll remember us and hold us almost as dear to his heart as the Scunny fans. (Hope that makes you feel a bit better). Judge_B Posted 19 January, 2013 Share Posted 19 January, 2013 I did bump in to him and ask him how he was doing. He kicked me in the shins and called my dog a ***t. Behind the scenes and off camera, he was a really nasty piece of work. No, really

Katalinic Posted 19 January, 2013 Share Posted 19 January, 2013 He could do better than them. I agree. I also think he would do better just taking a bit of time out rather than taking something on the rebound - having said that his stock is pretty high right now. Golac's Cunning Stunts Posted 19 January, 2013 Share Posted 19 January, 2013 I think he'd be good at Leeds. Warnock is retiring at the end of the season and they've lacked consistency under him. If he gets the Leeds job his first signing will be Rickie.

Special K Posted 20 January, 2013 Share Posted 20 January, 2013 He needs to man up As do all the gob****es on this forum who think kicking a man in the boll ox when he's doing perfectly well is something that can be justified as an inevitable business decision, whilst praising the ruthless **** that dealt the blow. Its a kick in the teeth to NA and his backroom staff, their families and all that goes with it. Perhaps when the gob****es get the sack whilst doing their job well they may well have a bit more eempathy.

Not sure a man who believes in mental strength would be happy that he left the club in tears. What a daft thing to come out with. What is he supposed to say? "I just want to say I didn't blub when they showed me the door". "I think Cortese is an arse". The best he can do is have some dignity, not **** stir and carefully consider his future. Which is what he is doing and will do.

He could of cpurse talk of difficulties working with Cortese but it doesnt seem the measure of the man. As for Pardew, he didnt sign a confidentiality agreement, nor did he sleep with anyones wife, but he also didnt stand to gain anything from giving a statement

You have a view and so do I, but very few would argue that he has no class. Your post about him making a statement is just stupid or designed to wind up those that are gutted that he is gone. Then no doubt you will be calling for unity behind the new manager, which is important, but your point is going to be contaminated by your cheap shot, isn't it?
