Mr X Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 for me it's a yes I can't stand the bloke as a person but I would take his experience over an unknown quantity if we were going to make a change earlier in the season and he went with redknapp when he was out of work would we have accepted that eventually? or would we protest that as well
Matthew Le God Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 He has been in the job one day and you have given him a pathetic nickname. Pathetic.
Mr X Posted 19 January, 2013 Author Posted 19 January, 2013 He has been in the job one day and you have given him a pathetic nickname. Pathetic. not by choice just easier to spell and remember at the moment and I wasn't the first
Dangermouth Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 Nope. The OP didn't do that; someone else did. HTH
Glasgow_Saint Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 He has been in the job one day and you have given him a pathetic nickname. Pathetic. Agreed!
Golac's Cunning Stunts Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 He has been in the job one day and you have given him a pathetic nickname. Pathetic. I thought it was quite apt actually.
trousers Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 He has been in the job one day and you have given him a pathetic nickname. Pathetic. Its wot football fans do, innit.
jjsaint Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 Surprisingly I would rather have had Arry - much as I hate him at least he knows the English game, he speaks a form of English and he's semi-reliable. I'd rather have pretty much anyone than Pochattino really. I hope I'm proven wrong I really do.

RobM Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 No. Not in a million years no. Redknapp would get short-term results and bugger off, causing more instability. If everything that has been said about newbie is to be believed (time will tell), he will get results in the long term that match the clubs ambition.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 Id take Alex McLeish or Nark Hughes over Pinocchio Hey id take Guy Whittingham over this guy
Spudders Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 for me it's a yes I can't stand the bloke as a person but I would take his experience over an unknown quantity if we were going to make a change earlier in the season and he went with redknapp when he was out of work would we have accepted that eventually? or would we protest that as well Did you nick this thread idea from Miltonroaders 'thread to-do' list?
Minsk Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 He has been in the job one day and you have given him a pathetic nickname. Pathetic. I agree, Pinoconyo is much better!!!
the stain Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 Harry can **** off, rather has this chap. I hope he does well.
Mr X Posted 19 January, 2013 Author Posted 19 January, 2013 Did you nick this thread idea from Miltonroaders 'thread to-do' list? no it's a genuine question redknapp was out of work stranger things have happened in football as this appointment prooves
badgerx16 Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 No - I saw what Saggy Chops did when he was here previously, and I'm quite happy to give the new guy a chance.
Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 No, did Redknapp keep us up last time? He would come here, demand to spend the kind of money he did for the fishy few on washed up has beans who might (although highly unlikely) do it for one season to keep us up but would be on ££££'s per week. The new boss has the right attitude and although I don't like the way Cortese got rid of Adkins or the timing of it, what is done is done and we have to get behind the new guy and support him. The time for bickering, moaning and complaining can be at the end of the season if Cortese's plan has back fired. Redknapp is a mercenary though, just look at his comments about QPR having players they cannot afford for a club with 18k crowds, players on too much and not worth it then he goes and signs a player on rumoured to be £70k a week. He is a dodgy, ball sack faced chump and I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club again.
Spudders Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 If the football league was going to finish in a year or two then someone like Redknapp would have maybe been a better choice for the short term, but our chairman is thinking much longer term and as such whilst I'd have given Adkins a bit more time, I can also understand why he's gone for this new guy.
colehillsaint Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 I will tell you after QPR visit St Mary's later this season.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 Anyone but Redcrapp MP's been in the job a day he deserves a chance it's not him who sacked Adkins!
Miltonroader07 Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 Agreed! Me too, just silly, what has HE done F All

dronskisaint Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 F ucking great NO...which bit of the c unt took us down and went back to them do you not understand?
Jonnyboy Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 I'd like to see redknapp, hung drawn and quartered in front of the bargate.
VectisSaint Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 for me it's a yes I can't stand the bloke as a person but I would take his experience over an unknown quantity if we were going to make a change earlier in the season and he went with redknapp when he was out of work would we have accepted that eventually? or would we protest that as well No, no, no. Surely Pinocchio is a more appropriate nickname for Saggy Chops than Mauricio. Saggy is the known liar.
Crab Lungs Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 I wouldn't want Twitchy and his dinosaur coaching staff anywhere near the club,
Atlanta Saint Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 If we win 3-0 on Monday everyone will be singing the praises of MP. Still won't deter from the fact that Cortese acted dishonorably against NA. But we have to win on Monday first. Still gutted over the dismissal
Plonko Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 He has been in the job one day and you have given him a pathetic nickname. Pathetic. Agreed. It's not even as though he's done anything wrong.
aintforever Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 Yes. Redknapp would definitely be less of a gamble.
OfnPanad Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 No, did Redknapp keep us up last time? Judge_B Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 Any idea how long we've got to put up with the disrespectful misspellings of his name? How long does it take for faux outrage to die out, exactly?
Glasgow_Saint Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 Any idea how long we've got to put up with the disrespectful misspellings of his name? How long does it take for faux outrage to die out, exactly? Whose been mispelling?
Miltonroader07 Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 Calling the new manager Pinnochio is very dis-respectful, he is the manager of our club, if you want to have a go aim it at NC and just support the manager and the team 100% COYR 101%
Mr X Posted 19 January, 2013 Author Posted 19 January, 2013 Calling the new manager Pinnochio is very dis-respectful, he is the manager of our club, if you want to have a go aim it at NC and just support the manager and the team 100% COYR 101% yes respect obviously comes high on your agenda judging by your avatar
Minsk Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 Calling the new manager Pinnochio is very dis-respectful, he is the manager of our club, if you want to have a go aim it at NC and just support the manager and the team 100% COYR 101% Well, personally, I've tried a few variations but will simply call him Conyo until he earns my respect. I really don't give a toss whether you agree with that sentiment or not either.
Ohio Saint Posted 19 January, 2013 Posted 19 January, 2013 So, this thread begs the question: Would you rather be bottom raped by a saggy faced old liar or a handsome young latin dude. I don't even need to be gay to know the answer to this one.
