Seeing that farewell message, l must admit that I now have a small tear dripping through my pragmatism. Will miss Adkins despite being enthusiastic about the future with this new chap.

I can confirm that is his hand writing.

The man is pure class. Will miss him very much.

How?

Don't disbelieve you just mildly interested.

Adkins is seriously a role model for me. Top bloke!!!

I agree with this. He is a role model. I, like many on here I'm sure, have a tendancy to get a little downbeat and grumpy sometimes. I truly see Adkins as the epitomy of how to straighten your back, pull yourself together and see the positivity in everything. I really really hope he moves onto better things in the future. He is a talented rational hard working man and it's sad not to have him as manager anymore. When Alex Ferguson is baffled as to a football decision you know it must be questionable at best!

Well thats bought a tear to my eye.

Class act from a top man, very much unlike the little chicken **** weasel that sacked him then hid away from the Press Conference today thereby leaving his new appointment to go it alone from the off.

Good Luck Nigel, where ever you move on to, some club will get not just a bloody good manager but a top bloke. One of the few honest people in football management today. IMHO.

What to add?

It sums the guy up, a class act all the way.

This is a bad day for the Club. We've let one of the brightest young managers in English football go. He'll get another club and he'll do well. We'll have to watch.
