So b-anter has now disappeared. Shortly before I made a kind offer to host b-anter for them... the offer still stands.

I saw that, would you be happy putting your name to a website which pulishes such, how shall we say, strong views though? Dont get me wrong, most of what is posted on there is b-anter and fun, but there is a few remarks made once in a while which are questionably over the line

I have 5 seperate web hosting accounts, 2 of which dont have my name associated with them, it wouldnt be an issue.

Dont think Essruu could be bothered to renew the £70 p.a hosting fee

Well I for one hope he comes on here and makes some contributions. I know he is a wind up merchant and can get under some peoples skin but underneath that he is a pretty funny bloke. That sketch thing he did a while ago was top class.

Would that make them an affiliated site?

Not at all, it wouldnt even be hosted in teh same country, never mind the same server.

I've just heard by a very reliable source that crouchie aka saint_in_oxon has come up with a rescue package to take full control of the site and become Supermod.

There has been a surprising amount of interest in taking over b-anter tbh, so you may need to sell a few more packs of Christmas cards to become Numero Uno, Stu.

Why is Ess jacking it in? I only looked on the site a couple of times but it seemed to have its own flavour and was holding its own with regular posts. I say he should be given a role on Saintsweb where he can unleash his humour among us. He is a clever humourist and a git. I dont want him to vanish like a thing that vanishes.

1. He's not jacking it in , he's jacking it off.

2. If you looked twice in 5 years you are not qualified to comment so keep your opinions to yourself.

3. God forbid

4. Correct with one but not the other, i'll leave you to work it out.

5. That would be called a vanishing thing.

The reason Ess pulled the plug was because it was his round at the Saints Fun Christmas meal. C*nt.

TopGun, don't you work in marketing and websites and the like?

If so, you are not seriously telling me that you use Alexa for small to medium websites? ( Christmas Bargain Shop is a small, but very targeted website with targeted marketing )

Alexa is a market share programme, it only records peoples movements who have an Alexa toobar installed, which is about 0.1%, so for a small website, the statistics produced are waaaaaaaaaaaaay off the mark!

CBS is getting about 100 unique visitors a day, but at the moment I have not started marketing, only on AdTrader. Will start pushing it this week.

£70 is easy peasy. 2 completed referrals from my website to mobiles.co.uk , £35 commision on each completed transaction.

I have had 936 clicks from my websites to my merchants websites this month, and £270 in the bank, for spending zilch, well £11 on the website.

Who says affiliate marketing doesn't work?
