Thedelldays Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 I bet adkins next job is not in the premier league....
Window Cleaner Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 stranger things have happened and he' d have a good young squad to mould not a good squad at all, young yes but lacking real quality, good defence though, rest not so much.
Window Cleaner Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 (edited) I bet adkins next job is not in the premier league.... doesn't have the credentials. NPC at best, mid-table. Nowhere is he going to stumble across a side with quality like he had when he came to us. After that it was just a bit of touch up work. Lambert,Schneiderlin,Puncheon,Lallana,Fonte,AOC he's not going to get a side like that gifted to him again, nor the money for Cork,Sharp,Jos,Fox etc. Edited 18 January, 2013 by Window Cleaner
St Marco Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Would not be surprised to see him go to Newcastle. **** that would **** Pardew off i'm sure!
Ohio Saint Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 I bet adkins next job is not in the premier league.... Given Villa's current status, this is what makes it an intriguing possibility. They could well think NA is worth the gamble, given that he now has a little PL experience and is a proven man-manager.
jawillwill Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Would not be surprised to see him go to Newcastle. **** that would **** Pardew off i'm sure! After Pardew signed an 8 year contract a few weeks ago? Yeah, likely.
Mr X Posted 18 January, 2013 Author Posted 18 January, 2013 I bet adkins next job is not in the premier league.... you don't think Adkins was up to the premiership?
Saint Garrett Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 doesn't have the credentials. NPC at best, mid-table. Cork is worth far more than that now.
This Charming Man Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 No different or better than what they've already got in Lambert.
Mr X Posted 18 January, 2013 Author Posted 18 January, 2013 not a good squad at all, young yes but lacking real quality, good defence though, rest not so much. the defence that let in 15 goals in three games you mean?
This Charming Man Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 the defence that let in 15 goals in three games you mean? Think he was talking about the defence with the worst GD in the league.
Huffton Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Liverpool. Rodgers is clearly on thin ice and he's one of their own. And bloody good luck to him.
bender Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Liverpool. Rodgers is clearly on thin ice and he's one of their own. And bloody good luck to him. Liverpool would see him as another Hodgson. Blackbum would have been a good job for him had the ex Skate not got it.
sandwichsaint Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 He would have been a good fit at Forest.
colehillsaint Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Leeds. That would be my shout. Drop 1 level like he did for us. The fans would quickly unite around his infectious enthusiasm and his good football, and they wouldn't think he wasn't good enough for them either. He could do wonders there IMHO.
