lordswoodsaints Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Could this of been the catalyst that set the wheels in motion to get rid of Adkins sooner rather than later? Was it a defiant two fingers to cortese by Adkins because he already knew his fate?
Turkish Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 We'll it went pretty badly then as we drew level when they were on the pitch.
sidthesquid Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 No - he clearly had a game plan on 4-5-1 with Rodriguez running the channels - something he does better than SRL
niceandfriendly Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 No, it was a game plan and a good one.
niceandfriendly Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Even though at first I thought it was a mistake!
bender Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Lets be honest we have complained a bit about Adkins substitutions. But this worked a treat. Dont play RL or GR, let Chelski think were sh1t, and then pounce.
OldNick Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 It was a game plan that was superb until 25 minutes, and worse after 45 mins.fortunately he saw sense and brought RL on and things improved
