Yes he probably would have been. It seems to me that it was inevitable (almost) regardless of results......and sort your spelling out!

If we had started the season with ten straight wins, I think NA would still have gone, such is the nature of NC.

The only difference being our new blokey would have maybe have had longer to research the club, players etc.
