shirleysfc Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Mike O'Callaghan. I didn't think SISA existed anymore? He's worse than NI in front of a camera!!
Kingsland Red Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 It was the leg end that is Perry McMillan featuring on Talksport.
Turkish Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 If we could also get Steve Goodwin comments we'd have a full house.
The Kraken Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 SISA; the non-existent platform for a bunch of 4 or 5 self-important c*nts to get their names in print. Time and time a-f*cking-gain.
Turkish Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 He was the one that rang up Jason cundys show when we were top of the championship and unbeaten at home and started ranting on about car parking charges. complete embarassment.
Crazy Diamond Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Oh for f*ck's sake, we've already got a bunch of retards running the club, now we've got someone making the fans look like it too? Brilliant.
Faz Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 If anything is guaranteed to take the heat off NC on this board, its a SISA rep being wheeled out to represent the fans. Wouldn't be surprised if The Don was handing out their contact details at the Press Conference.
Turkish Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 SISA; the non-existent platform for a bunch of 4 or 5 self-important c*nts to get their names in print. Time and time a-f*cking-gain. It hasn't existed for about 10 years i think.
Turkish Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 He said what the majority of us are thinking.... what did he actually say?
Greenridge Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 It was the leg end that is Perry McMillan featuring on Talksport. Taxi drivers are in the know you know
Katalinic Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 what did he actually say? Something about Pochettino not being able to speak proper English - it was kinda ironic.
stevegrant Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 SISA; the non-existent platform for a bunch of 4 or 5 self-important c*nts to get their names in print. Time and time a-f*cking-gain. That many?
Tokyo-Saint Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 what did he actually say? Hi mum..... is this really on? .... really? ..... I'm on TV? hahaha I can't believe it! Hi Mum....errmm.... shame about Nigel innit? Not sure about the new fella, Spanish ain't he?
Sour Mash Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Oh for f*ck's sake, we've already got a bunch of retards running the club, now we've got someone making the fans look like it too? Brilliant. What exactly did he do/say that was so wrong? Who else should the media contact to hear Supporters' views?
The Kraken Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 That many? Good point! Chuckles Chorley seems to have gone quiet of late and its just Perry McMillan and Mike O'Callaghan that remain with a desperate thirst to appear relevant.
um pahars Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 If we could also get Steve Goodwin comments we'd have a full house. I declined LOL. There's nothing we can do about it though, so no point. Let off a bit of steam on here, but that's about it.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 What exactly did he do/say that was so wrong? Who else should the media contact to hear Supporters' views? Bearsy gets my vote.
um pahars Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 What exactly did he do/say that was so wrong? Who else should the media contact to hear Supporters' views? Boris or Turkish would get my vote on this one. With their inside info and a touch of angst, they'd get the message across.
The Kraken Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Boris or Turkish would get my vote on this one. With their inside info and a touch of angst, they'd get the message across. Wrong mongboard (or is that mong wrongboard?)
RonManager Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Boris or Turkish would get my vote on this one. With their inside info and a touch of angst, they'd get the message across. DannySFC for me. (Jim White on SSN - "breathe Danny breathe FFS") Or maybe Ottery, holding up cardboard cutout smiley faces after each reply.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Swedish David might be interesting as well. I wonder how he alters his intonation when speaking to show that he is underlining something or putting it in bold.
Saint_clark Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 First sniff of discontent among the supporters and the usual suspects coming crawling out the woodwork sensing an opportunity to put themselves forward as the 'voice of a fans'.
Crazy Diamond Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 What exactly did he do/say that was so wrong? Who else should the media contact to hear Supporters' views? I object to anyone that claims to represent fans - on the basis they do not represent me, and I am a fan. The media have an alternative, and that is vox pops. That is what was done on South Today at lunchtime. Individuals give their own individual opinions. I've got my own voice thanks.
Roger Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 First sniff of discontent among the supporters and the usual suspects coming crawling out the woodwork sensing an opportunity to put themselves forward as the 'voice of a fans'. Well they are right , usual suspects who care for the club and were loyal to us for years.
Sour Mash Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 I object to anyone that claims to represent fans - on the basis they do not represent me, and I am a fan. The media have an alternative, and that is vox pops. That is what was done on South Today at lunchtime. Individuals give their own individual opinions. I've got my own voice thanks. They don't claim to represent all fans. They are a representative of Saints support. Put yourself out there then. You'd rather they stopped and spoke to a random out doing their shopping? You still haven't said what he's said or done wrong?
Turkish Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 They don't claim to represent all fans. They are a representative of Saints support. Put yourself out there then. You'd rather they stopped and spoke to a random out doing their shopping? You still haven't said what he's said or done wrong? they did this on Meridan and got some spotty ginger mug and some other fella that didnt have a clue what he was talking about.
sotonjoe Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Why do all our spokesfans come across as dole queue rejects?
sotonjoe Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 they did this on Meridan and got some spotty ginger mug and some other fella that didnt have a clue what he was talking about. I swear the first fan reaction they played on Solent said, "What? But Atkins is a legend! Do you mind if I just check my phone to see if this is a wind up? Pochee what? Argentinian? This must be a wind up. "
Roger Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Why do all our spokesfans come across as dole queue rejects? Ok snob. Why does it matter how much money they have?
Crazy Diamond Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 They don't claim to represent all fans. They are a representative of Saints support. Put yourself out there then. You'd rather they stopped and spoke to a random out doing their shopping? You still haven't said what he's said or done wrong? Yeah. Why not? If they want to be interviewed. I say he's done wrong by representing a group of Saints fans, because at the end of the day, it is used as 'this is the feeling of Southampton fans' rather than 'this is the feeling of this group of individuals represented by this man.' I have no interest in representing anyone's views but my own.
Dig Dig Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 They don't claim to represent all fans. They are a representative of Saints support. Put yourself out there then. You'd rather they stopped and spoke to a random out doing their shopping? You still haven't said what he's said or done wrong? What would be the difference if they had approached a random Saints fan?
sotonjoe Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Ok snob. Why does it matter how much money they have? Because they might be able to afford Teflon lessons from supermikey
Sour Mash Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Yeah. Right, so they're a Supporters' association rep, same as you get at all clubs and they've said nothing you disagree with, but you'd rather they interviewed a random walking the street who might only have a passing interest in Saints? Ha ha!
Crazy Diamond Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Right, so they're a Supporters' association rep, same as you get at all clubs and they've said nothing you disagree with, but you'd rather they interviewed a random walking the street who might only have a passing interest in Saints? Ha ha! I would rather have vox pops, yes. Glad you find it amusing.
Sour Mash Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 What would be the difference if they had approached a random Saints fan? Because they might only have a passing interest in Saints? It's a pretty fair assumption to make for the media that if they speak to a 'supporters' rep' they should at least be a proper fan, up to date and engaged in the latest issues.
Crazy Diamond Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Because they might only have a passing interest in Saints? It's a pretty fair assumption to make for the media that if they speak to a 'supporters' rep' they should at least be a proper fan, up to date and engaged in the latest issues. Different supporters, individuals, less likely to have an agenda. A spread of opinions. You don't know if they're fully up to date unless you ask. Plus in the edit suite, you'll have ten vox pops, you pick out the top three. Those three will have a decent knowledge or else there's not much point in using them. Seems much more sensible to me.
