I'll teach him his first two English words - f*ck off.

Couldn't care if he's fluent in over 8 million forms of communication he can still drop dead for all I care.

today, I agree with your sentiments.

Wonder if we'll feel the same at the end of this , or next season ?

"At Southampton, that is an advantage he does not have. Communication will naturally be harder as he does not speak English. Pochettino has vision but, after the sacking of Adkins, he will have to get results too. And fast."

after 53 years as a fan ......words fail me. Surprise isn't even a word on the list !:scared:

I'm not going to start criticising before I see the result of the next 5 games, but I forsee an exit of some of our current regulars.....probably following Nigel to his * new club.

There won't be a need for Ramirez's interpreter anymore but the rest of the English-speaking players will need one..and preferably someone who understands football tactics. STILL Shocked :scared:´

* Nigel's new club will be .....??? Difficult to say as his new club haven't sacked their current manager yet, maybe we need a poll on that one MODS ?

......but be assured Nigel will certainly be in demand. After Wednesdays result, it might even be .......Chelsea ?

This is becoming more and more laughable at every moment.

Can't speak english?!?! So he is going to be able to chat to Gaston fine and maybe Guly + Fonte in broken portuguese.

Bravo Cortese bravo.

It will be a right laugh explaining tactics to our Polish keeper and Norwegian and Japanese centre backs in broken English.

Well! I'm due to move back to the UK in the medium term so trying to be positive there might be a bit more English teaching work in the Southampton area. I have the advantage of having my own footie boots (actually both moulded, screw-in and keeper's gloves!), European experience (we're playing Juventus on Sunday!), and I'll be needing the money so can give reasonable rates...

Hey, it's not all bad!
