Possibly not? I don't mean as in go on strike, but that is Nigels team that he has built. People make fun about his together as one comments but its clear to see how his positive outlook and enthusiasm transmits to the players. If the players are as ****ed about it as we are, and you would have to assume many will be, we could be in big trouble very quickly. Well done Nicola.

They are supposed to be professionals.

they are professional footballers who I would imagine want to stay in the premier league.

Yes but it's been known to happen before, if the players are hacked off and don't get the right feeling from the new man it only takes a tiny drop in motivation from a few key players for it all to fall apart at this level. Look at Spurs just before Harry went their good professional players with the wrong manager and system didn't work.

Erm, Alan Pardew's team got promoted with NA.

I think its too early to say. He hasnt even taken training yet.

Nigel built on Alan's team.

What were the player reactions like when we booted Pardew out?

We won successive promotions.

Different circumstances I think the bond formed through the two promotions will be stronger than anything they had with Pardew, player like Lambert who Nigel has clearly stood by this season are going to take this pretty hard I'd imagine the reaction will be interesting.

When your boss at work gets replaced do you not work for your new boss we are all professional at our jobs as the players are, they will play to show the new man they are able and want to keep their place.

Conversely, will he want the players ?

Or will we end up with a sudden influx of Spanish and South American mercenaries looking for a quick payday ?

I'm sure they will want to play for the new guy, but if he can't speak any English, how good is going to be at motivating them when morale is low, or even just explaining where/how he wants them to play?
