The stream I was watching the Chelsea game on the other night, whenever the commentators mentioned him they were referring to him solely in the sense of being a prospective replacement for Ashley Cole at Chelsea. Pleased for Shaw, but also concerned as to how playing for England gives chance for their heads and minds to be turned. Comments from either Woy , or Pearce, or the media to the effect of 'needs to play Champions League..' blah blah would not be helpful.

the U21 game v Sweden in a couple of weeks is due to be played at Walsall wonder what their pitch is like. wouldn't surprise me if it was off due to a frozen pitch with the weather we've got forecast for the next few weeks .
