Glasgow_Saint Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 (edited) Good to see him back last night - thought he looked class and helped win the point If Chaplow can come back and make a massive impact, maybe there is still hope for Lee, Forte, Martin, Dickson, Fox, Richardson, Seabourne, Butterfield, Mayuka, SDR, Forecast, Barnard, Guly, Hammond or Sharp? Lazlo78 Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 Actually it was nice to see him back and he delivered exactly what you could expect from him. Lots of running, chasing down the ball, giving an outlet in the offense by making himself available for deep runs. Useful and reliable squad player, so it's nice to have him around!
Saint Garrett Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 It's an option to have. Does a certain job,
trousers Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 Good to see him back last night - thought he looked class and helped win the point If Chaplow can come back and make a massive impact, maybe there is still hope for Lee, Forte, Martin, Dickson, Fox, Richardson, Seabourne, Butterfield, Mayuka, SDR, Forecast, Barnard, Guly, Hammond or Sharp? I see what you did there...
Glasgow_Saint Posted 17 January, 2013 Author Posted 17 January, 2013 I see what you did there... Included Guly only because some fans still arent convinced - i personally think he has beed excellent last 2 months and best player on the pitch 1st half yesterday.
raynesparksaint Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 I think massive impact is stretching it a bit. He did alright
Glasgow_Saint Posted 17 January, 2013 Author Posted 17 January, 2013 I think massive impact is stretching it a bit. He did alright Watch the final 23 minutes again and come back here and say he did "alright"
slickmick Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 Thought he looked sharp last night. Got stuck in well and didn't stand back and let Chelsea play. Certainly prefer to see him play instead of Davis.
raynesparksaint Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 I agree he did well... pressurised the man on the ball, chased down balls and basically did what he does best. Lambert coming on was what I'd call a massive impact
Turkish Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 He certainly added a bit of bite in the midfield.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 How many minutes on the pitch does be need before he starts tweeting again?
Turkish Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 How many minutes on the pitch does be need before he starts tweeting again? He was tweeting on Saturday night about a great win for his club. Burnley. FFS
Tokyo-Saint Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 Take you back to your former football manager glories?
jamesfp1 Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 Always liked Chappers, decent bloke and player
Turkish Posted 17 January, 2013 Posted 17 January, 2013 Take you back to your former football manager glories? Those were the days. The all concouring Burnley team on FM12. that was a golden period in my life.
old_southy Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 A very good 'nuisance' player but shouldn't start. He is a level below what we are trying to achieve with the team. I have seen that chasing down role played by Guly too.
shurlock Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Was OK -was better out of possession than in possession.
rooney Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 He s a strong player and that is what we wanted when he came on.
alpine_saint Posted 18 January, 2013 Posted 18 January, 2013 Pleased to see the guy still has a role for us, after the way the "Not Premiership Standard" Brigade on here wrote him off. Next Week's Episode : Sorry Billy
