Top away support

:) The Girls reckon that with Villa and Chelsea Away in quick succession - we've all showed what Top Support we have at this Club.

Chelsea and Villa were like a Library. Proud of our Supporters last night. We could even hear then in the Streets with the long line of Poiice separating Supporters.

John Terry got a bit of stick and so the Frank Lampard chant was right on the money. Discuss

Wish I had gone last night, but having only missed a handful of away games the last few seasons, I just simply couldn't justify going for that price and with that much notice.

Likewise, but £50 is a lot of money to scrape together in a week and a half. They shot themselves in the foot there - if they'd put tickets on for £30-40 they'd have sold out the away allocation easily, with us probably asking for more tickets as well. I'll be doing Man Utd and Wigan in a few weeks though, and probably Newcastle in Feb.

What were those chants? I couldn't hear them over the dutch commentators.... Pyncheon, he he... Pyncheon...

Terry had a few 'dedicated' to him, the best I thought was: "Nando, he's sha**ing your wife, Nando, Nando, he's sha**ing your wife" while him and Torres were warming up. Also a fre pro-Bridge chants.

Lampard got "they don't want you anymore" everytime he duffed a shot.

:) Having seen the initial Team selection last night and then seeing Chaplow do a job for Saints last night - makes you think that Lee Barnard (Barney) could come on for a short period and be utilised by Nigel.

Richard Chaplow is a Terrier and scored a classic goal against Man U in the Cup. Barney is not scared to get stuck in and is a Rottweiller.

THE GIRLS LOVE BARNEY !!! Nice to see him travel with the Squad and in a Saints Shirt again. Discuss.

:) Other Players have stepped up. Why not Barney ?? Even in it was for 20 minutes or a few minutes at the end of the game where you need an input of energy - to hold up play or add an additional threat.

He could barely make an impact at Bournemouth.

No, just..... no.

;) Firstly the Title Top Away Support should be in Capital Letters. That's how important its is and what a difference it makes.

As the Players come out of the Tunnel or when the Keepers come out to practice - they can feel overwhelmed and on their own. The Lads and the Girls are the 12th Man.

Look, Our Away Form has really improved .... and is is due to Saints Top Supporters. First QPR-Fulham-Stoke-Villa- Chelsea.

The best post - Worldwide at the moment regarding Saints including the Ugly Inside - Saints Forum etc is from the Daily Echo site (still available) and posted by City Saint.

Quote : Well done Jason, and the whole Team and a superb result last night. And good on PUNCH for showing that with hard work, and a willingness to MAN UP - anyone in the club can straighten their halo and become a TOP SAINT. UnQuote.

Turkish and Orange - Get scanning through You Tube - the link was on the Saints Forum on the relevant thread - Superb Saints Supporters at Villa Away.

For those who (a) did not (b) could not © had to fight for a Ticket (delete as appropriate) - Best Chant of the Night to John Terry - You let your Country Down ... etc

Best Chant of the evening - OWTS - so loud - at the end of the game.

TOGETHER AS ONE - We fill the Stadiums and we get behind the Manager and the Team. Volume Up a notch for the next home game against Everton who are beatable.

We are a Family based Club. Pompey are the blue few with some mindless thugs who go to places like Manure - just looking for it.

* Humour aside - Nigel will make the decisions on all the players based on a number of factors including what he sees on the Training Pitch.

..... Oh Southampton we love you ...

In the opposite direction from the Itchen Pub (bridge Chapel etc) We will be in the Pubs before the Everton Game.
