They were very impressive at their place. Will have to be aware of their left hand side, along with Fellaini and Jelavic who are a handful. Fingers crossed.

First 15 minutes we looked fine.

As soon as they got into their stride they potentially could have scored 6 or 7 in the first half.

Is pienaar at the African nations thing?

I'd probably take the draw what with everything. Feels a bit dirty saying that about Everton at home tho!

Pienaar doesn't play for S Af anymore, jacked it in, Everton probably told him to do that.

I wish you'd stop coming on to me eric. It's making me uncomfortable!

But yeah, just a semi.

Consider yourself lucky, you just have to banter with him.

We have to sit and put up with him all through the games on telly in the pub.

Especially as he is now a w.a.n.k.e.r. again

I'll say this. It's been a long time since I've been as curious about a Saints game.

No idea which way the result will go.

Jesus are home form is terrible, time for this to change I think.

We have beaten, Newcastle, villa and reading at home, best result was the last one draw with Arsenal!

COYR!

I could give you a clue! Hmm

Jesus, have only really won against teams in the bottom 5 this season. These 5 are the 5 teams directly below us.

Lets change this tonight on our march to the top half!

I dread to think what this forum will be like if I get back from the game and we've lost!

Pretty much like as normal I should think. New manager, and high expectations from NC and now the supporters for the future.

14 hours since Mrs EoA left, only 7 1/2 more days of w.a.n.k.e.r. dom left before i fly home!!

A few sneaky pre match drinks beers at home in case they haven't got London pride back on tap.

I'll be as frisky as a Tesco burger by KO.

Pochettino's first programme notes:

"There have been offers for me to coach elsewhere, I am in no doubt I've made the right choice as Southampton is an attractive proposition for anyone in world football right now. There are high expectations, it does not scare me, it thrills me, I'm looking forward to pushing Southampton on world stage. Disfrutar del juego."

An orgy of blood and p!ss, I'd wager.

Pretty much the whole footballing world that aren't Saints followers are hoping or expecting us to lose today. I have an inkling we'll win.

Ergo, it'll be a draw. Which I'd be happy with btw.

Do we take white hankies or does waving a napkin count?

I'm confused.

Anyways I have my extra double thick woollie fleecey thingy ready to go eta 11 ish but need another pint of Bacardi & Coke to get into any form of mood Con el fin de ver el fútbol de los Santos

@NabilHassan79: #SaintsFC stewards told in pre-game briefing not to comment if asked by fans what they think about Nigel Adkins sacking.

Propaganda central. If a steward mentions it tonight they'll wake up with a horses head in their bed in the morning. Ridiculous.

Talksport moaning on bout not a single mention of Adkins in the programme

Why would there be, ha ha ha, he was sacked. Sacked and we move on like it never happened.

I haven't read any of the previous post because you are all a bunch of bell ends and I don't care what you think. ;)

I'm REALLY stoked for this game....Why, you ask? Well.....Because I have absolutely NO FROOKING IDEA what the hell will happen. How will we play? What will the fans do? Will I poop myself again like at Chelski?

Who the hell knows.

@NabilHassan79: Media not allowed to conduct vox pops (interviews) with fans outside of St Mary's or on the premises tonight. #saintsfc #bbcfootball

He is a sod, but our sod!

Who?

As a club, we are very good at airbrushing events out of history, in fact a minority of the fans have tried very hard.

It is a lonely place when you are one of the few bearing the torch of truth when all around are sniping, ridiculing and attacking.

Waiting to here back from my mate who is in the sammy saint get up, if she has been told not to talk about the sacking!

Can he talk about it through interpretive dance?
