Morgan

forever a red and white

He was unbelievable tonight. Some of his touches to take it away from 2 or 3 Chelsea players was amazing.

A real, top, top class player. Although we always knew he was PL class, even in L1.

He's grown with us, and he's going to be one of the most sought after midfielders in Europe before long.

I rarely notice him (not because he's bad, but because I find it really difficult to follow the DM in detail when just watching a game) but today I really did notice how fantastic he is. Chaplow came on and battled away but you could really see the difference in class between Chappers and Morgan.

One slight criticism: twice he let the ball bounce before trying to clear it and both times he lost the ball in dangerous positions. Apart from that a perfect game from a rather complete midfielder.

Hooray!

The number of times he was there to clear once the ball dropped in our area was amazing. Brilliant distribution again and its noticeable how intelligent he is at picking which tackle to go for at the end of the game there. Well done Capt Morgan ... rums all round!(Because someone had to)

Yes, he must wonder what it is that he has to do to get a song in his name compared to the adoration that Gaston gets from the crowd. I'm a fan of both but Morgan has contributed far more to this campaign than Gaston so far. A quality player. I thought that Fergie might show an interest in Morgan after the FA Cup match two years ago against United when he ran the show.

He may have had the class as you saw.......but much better suited to Premier football ...as many remarked on at the Div 1 days....

I have seen a vast improvement in his game and believe even more to come...

In the early days played many shiiiite games...

Nowadays plays many brilliant games....

Premier class shining through.

I still have no idea how the club managed to sign him when he joined from Strasbourg during those Dark Dutch days, but he's been my favourite player since and as others have stated, he has been class even in League 1 when he regularly got clattered.

Class act, must be due some senior French games soon.

Remember him in the lower leagues, really struggled at first, though you could always see his class was there. I think he will look back at those years and admit he learned so much about our game and how it has helped him develop. Glad that he keeps under the radar really, we can keep him for a bit longer.
