When I saw the title, I did think to myself 1939? That's pretty f*cking old if you ask me!

But in all seriousness, it is horrible to think someone abused that child and another child was born out of it! Presumably they didnt have DNA checking in those days to check the father was not the father to his own childs child (thats a tongue twister!)

There are one or two reported incidences of supposed virgin births in modern times, although I'd always question the validity of them.
