Tokyo-Saint Posted 16 January, 2013 Share Posted 16 January, 2013 Thinking that this may come under some tough competition for stupidity by the mainboard one but here goes. The rules - must be a realistic target, must be stupid, must be something you wouldn't be surprised to see on the main board. My suggestion, Micheal Johnson. This guy had great potential when younger, if Nigel can just get in his head and we can get him match fit, he could be a fantastic player for us and a bargain. dubai_phil Posted 16 January, 2013 Share Posted 16 January, 2013 Like, very main board like. In fact... Has this been on the main board before? Oh God no, then I'd need to provide a Forensic Audit trail, name my sources, receive weeks of abuse from people about why they would be detrimental to the club and we'd become a media circus, then there'd be arguments over whether this was a sign of our progress towards the CL next year or in 10 years, Then we'd have to extend Staplewood threads to accomodate the screaming teenagers, then there would be complaints about the teenagers stopping the Japanese from getting access. Lord no. But they are coming. Definitely, totally, a District Line driver heard them talking about it and told a taxi driver. He told an Airline Pilot or something like that

Tokyo-Saint Posted 16 January, 2013 Author Share Posted 16 January, 2013 I like your thinking spudders. BTW, anyone else notice the foot prints of the abominable snowmanon the Old Trafford pitch? HCDAJFU, pretty solid centre back, rarely beaten in the air with a lovely touch for a big man. Great leader at the back as well, usually organises the off side trap. The problem with the abominable snowman is that he's known to often disappear during games and it's hard to see where he is let alone what impact he's having on the game. What about Davros from Dr Who? He's got his ref qualifications so knows the game well.

Spudders Posted 16 January, 2013 Share Posted 16 January, 2013 Maybe he couldn't play the full 90 minutes, but as an impact sub he could still do a job! Don’t forget Cortese wants to expand the club brand into different markets, the club could make a fair bit out of merchandise sales from different parts of the galaxy

Tokyo-Saint Posted 16 January, 2013 Author Share Posted 16 January, 2013 So I'm the only one who has followed the rules and posted a real footballer who is still playing (although obviously not much). I never get confused with you and Bearsey so I understood what you were meaning. I don't want any favours from you so I will take it like a man.* *I mean being shot firing squad style not being bummed. To be clear, this is in no way a suggestion I'd take bumming in a manly fashion.
buctootim Posted 16 January, 2013 Share Posted 16 January, 2013 Sad story about Michael Johnson. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/michael-johnson-reveals-mental-health-problems-which-contributed-to-end-of-manchester-city-career-8453906.html Would still rather see Davros on the wing. Restark19 Posted 20 January, 2013 Share Posted 20 January, 2013 (edited) El Hadji Diouf. Seems like a top bloke, has a certain class about him and a brilliant attitude, would definitely get on with big nic. Maybe we could do a swap deal with Lambert going the other way? dubai_phil Posted 23 January, 2013 Share Posted 23 January, 2013 Brooklyn & Romeo Beckham for the Academy http://uk.news.yahoo.com/brooklyn-beckham-chelsea-football-trial-161916604.html David Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn has had a trial with Chelsea, it has been reported. The 13-year-old played in a game at the Premier League club's training ground in Surrey on Tuesday. Hey c'mon Tokyo's that shout deserved at least a close but no cigar Otherwise I promise to plague you with Golf stories again next week... One of them might (in a how random is that) fashion be almost close to being only uninteresting instead of the usual simply boring
