afc Bournemouth Still Haven't Got Over Us

When we were at the Dell I remember a lot of Saints fans used to cheer their score if they had won.

Yup i remember that too, and always have a look out for their results. Can't go as far as saying they're my second team but it's nice to see them do well.

I was touched up by Ken Bailey their England mascot circa 70's when my Dad took me down there when we did not do the Saints away match. He was a right little fiddler, walked around with England waist coat on. I have now reported all this to Operation Yewtree and taken back all the sports kit I bought from Ted Macdougall Sports.

I have no opinion on this, just quoting it so it survives the inevitable deletion when granty sees it and has a libel-induced seizure. HTH.

I just heard some knobber of a fan of theirs on TV saying how they'll meet either us or Pompey next season which suggests to me that they are more deluded than our skate friends down the road....Shows a bit of a love-in with Pompey and some unfounded hatred of us.

Morons.

I went to the Bournemouth game on Saturday. The fans booed at the end when it was announced we had won 1-0. My Bmouth supporting mate was surprised when I told him we cheered when their half time score (1-0 up at Wigan) was read out in the Cup game the other week...

With the exception of the drunken Chairman rant on the pitch. Pure quality.

Would love to see Cortese offer the Northam out

I sat about 4 rows away from Cortese in the Northam corner when he was on his fabled scouting mission/fans-eye-view, can't remember which game it was but it might have been Yeovil on a Tuesday night.

Didn't recognise him at all, he didn't offer anybody out though.

Little club latching onto something they dont have, they really are a bunch of little pensioners who should be pitied.

Pensioners!?

Clearly you know nothing whatsoever about them and their recent history. Schoolboys would be more appropriate.

I'd be very surprised if they're playing either of us next season, it would need either us going down and them coming up, or the frankly hilariously unlikely prospect of Portsmouth not getting relegated.

I think what he's trying to say is being rivals with Yeovil and/or Swindon isn't very interesting.

My Mrs (works in Southbourne) gets a bit of stick at work because I'm a 'Scummer' fan. The funny thing is none of them actually support Bmth but support teams like ManU, Arse, Chelsea, QPR, Leeds, WHam but they follow Bmth as their local/second club.
