Saint_Donovan Posted 15 January, 2013 Share Posted 15 January, 2013 I was under the impression that the last payment for season tickets came out in Dec? I've just checked my bank and they've taken another payment. Anyone had this problem?

If I remember correctly there was a cock up with the instalment plan early in the season which meant that the payment scheme started one month later than it was supposed to. I think (but could be wrong) that the club, at least for me, took the first payment in August instead of July when they were supposed to so the January payment should be the last. Baldbarbarian Posted 15 January, 2013 Share Posted 15 January, 2013 I have had nothing but hassle with the Season ticket DD, it turns out that all my payments were going towards my mates season ticket (we are linked on the system). I have had to phone the ticket office each month to pay over the phone as they still havent set it up correctly, will buy it all upfront next season. COMEONYOUREDS Posted 15 January, 2013 Share Posted 15 January, 2013 Mine started in September, therefore as of today I have 1 out of the 6 payments left I'll be cancelling my DD once that has gone out just to be on the safe side!!

Standing orders are controlled by the payee not DD. Well thats my understanding

Tony F Posted 15 January, 2013 Share Posted 15 January, 2013 The payer definitely has to authorize a DD and can cancel it any any time. The payee is responsible for activating it every month (ie asking for the money) - hence if they skipped a month they can activate it a month later....
