swannymere Posted 14 January, 2013 Posted 14 January, 2013 (edited) Not sure if this is old news, Adobe are giving away older versions of their products including Photoshop for Mac's and PC's, click on the link and the licence number you'll need during installation is to the right of each link. Not sure how long it lasts for though. http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/index.html Edited 14 January, 2013 by swannymere
buctootim Posted 14 January, 2013 Posted 14 January, 2013 Ive never used photoshop before. I know its good, but also supposed to be complicated. Any views on whether its worth getting for the casual, occasional user or stick with some of the simpler programs.
JonnyLove Posted 14 January, 2013 Posted 14 January, 2013 Their not, it was a bit of a miss understanding. Article that points to free photoshop: http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2013/01/grab-photoshop-and-cs2-for-absolutely-free-right-now/ And then the full story http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2013/01/why-adobes-massive-photoshop-fail-couldve-been-a-clever-business-move/
Trader Posted 14 January, 2013 Posted 14 January, 2013 Just downloaded CS2 to my ancient PowerPC mac, running OS 10.5.8 and it all works fine! Many thanks! PS Photoshop is a brilliant program - and really not all that difficult.

You can do some really complicated stuff with it but it's still simple to use for the basic retouching etc.
lifeintheslowlane Posted 14 January, 2013 Posted 14 January, 2013 Plenty of tutorials, from basic to complex on YouTube. If you're a keen amateur photographer it's a must have.
