Dig Dig Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Spurs should be 1 up already. Defoe hits post and then Adebayor misses a sitter.
DT Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Have never wanted a spurs win so much. Wish they'd stop singing our bloody song though.
Thedelldays Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Spurs should be 1 up already. Defoe hits post and then Adebayor misses a sitter. great double save mind....would love to have cesear in our team
Dig Dig Posted 12 January, 2013 Author Posted 12 January, 2013 great double save mind....would love to have cesear in our team Yea it was and he would be a massive improvement on what we have
ottery st mary Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Mind you.....If you watched the films of CESAR and his best 50 blunders:p He would not last a week at the mighty Saints..
VectisSaint Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Cesar may be a massive improvement on our keepers, last time I saw him he was massive, made Boruc look like Posh Spice. Has he lost weight?
Thedelldays Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Cesar may be a massive improvement on our keepers, last time I saw him he was massive, made Boruc look like Posh Spice. Has he lost weight? eerr, yes
Bananaman Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 that's what a lucky win at chelsea will do for you
Saint Without a Halo Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Tight game so far more possesion to Spurs but opportunities equal! QPR seem to have tightened up defensively very well so far
Dig Dig Posted 12 January, 2013 Author Posted 12 January, 2013 QPR are battling well in the middle but not much happening for them in final third
Saint Without a Halo Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 QPR are battling well in the middle but not much happening for them in final third Apart from a couple of half chances by SWP ! HT 0-0
Saint_clark Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 They don't have a striker playing, that's the problem. When Taarabt is your most forward player you're going to struggle - he's trying to do way too much. It seems like he doesn't want to have a shot on goal unless he's done a few cruyff turns, stepovers and cartwheels or it's from a ridiculous angle 30+ yards out.
Window Cleaner Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 QPR look very decent if they had a striker they'd be not too bad, Fabio looks good . Saints need to get at least 2 places above the bottom 3 because QPR could well escape it.
Saint Charlie Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Spurs have been poor so far. Hopefully they will improve 2nd half.
InvictaSaint Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 How poor is Adebayor? Three left feet and manages to allow the ball to bounce off him 9 times out of 10.
Window Cleaner Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 How poor is Adebayor? Three left feet and manages to allow the ball to bounce off him 9 times out of 10. probably can't wait to get down to AfSud and get out of the cold.
Legod Third Coming Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 probably can't wait to get down to AfSud and get out of the cold. And given half a chance I'd join him!
Mr X Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 if they had a striker they'd be not too bad, Fabio looks good . Saints need to get at least 2 places above the bottom 3 because QPR could well escape it. not according to people on here they couldn't I said I had a feeling qpr could escape it and everyone on here said not a chance in hell
Glasgow_Saint Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 If it stays like this QPR are 4 behind us, but played 2 more #relax
DT Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 QPR much better at closing down and being generally tighter than we are. Worrying
Dr Who? Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 QPR are going down the same route as us and Reading, tightening up at the back. It is the only way to build a team to stay up! We are doing well, QPR will get tonked still at times, but we are much better than them. QPR late winner is all I can see!
Thedelldays Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 4 points from chelsea away and spurs at home...with a new manager...hmmmmmm come on spurs
MOSaint Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Easier to close down on teams playing the ball about with no urgency and with as much predictability as Spurs are today.
Dr Who? Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 I can also see Reading and Wigan maybe getting max points today. Reading will win, and Wigan might get a point, but maybe all 3
Dig Dig Posted 12 January, 2013 Author Posted 12 January, 2013 Spurs have looked poo today. 2 points dropped by QPR, too afraid to play a striker at home
DT Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Harry obviously has 11 brown envelopes with him today
Thedelldays Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Spurs have looked poo today. 2 points dropped by QPR, too afraid to play a striker at home indeed..but its never 2 points dropped if its us...like stoke or arsenal
Glasgow_Saint Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 a good point for qpr They will need to win games to stay up
Mr X Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 They will need to win games to stay up true so will we though too many draws have cost us
Thedelldays Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 They will need to win games to stay up as do we...we need to win today and put 6 points between us...come on saints
adrian lord Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Saints win today and that will be a sickening body-blow to QPR.
tajjuk Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Very negative, but look a lot more solid defensively but then with 10 men behind the ball that's not too hard. Will be interesting to them against Norwich and what their approach will be.
sandwichsaint Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 not according to people on here they couldn't I said I had a feeling qpr could escape it and everyone on here said not a chance in hell Not everyone, I called 20 Reading, 19 Villa, 18 Sunderland at the end of Nov and I'm going to stick with that for the season, reckon I've got Reading and Villa right, 18th is a right dog fight (just like it is every year!). QPR looked a lot better today, get a 10 goal striker in the window and they will stay up comfortably, 4 points from Chels A and Spuds H is 4 more than we will get!
Window Cleaner Posted 12 January, 2013 Posted 12 January, 2013 Saints win today and that will be a sickening body-blow to QPR. not really, Villa will sunk down and Wigan probably will lose. They'll be a point closer to the exit zone.
