We probably havent even approached the club involved yet, the person probably hasnt passed the "committe stage" yet. Which means bog-all chance for completion. Therefore he is right to keep schtum, in case he ends up with egg on his face. The news that we are not in for a PL-standard GK disgusts me.

It doesn't do us any good whatsoever to share any piece of information publicly - there is literally no good that can come from it. Adkins has alluded that there may be some activity in the first few days of the window and then some at the end of the window, I think that is the best we will get from the club. But I am confident that there is no lack of effort - it takes a lot of work to get a transfer sorted and there are a lot of things that can change during the course of a deal.

My instincts tell me that we will be working to strengthen. Nicola Cortese and Nigel Adkins are not stupid. Back to back promotions do not spring from stupidity.

He may even be surprised, but maybe not. Its fun isn't it, not knowing what is going on or if anything is going on, or not.
