miserableoldgit Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Well theres nothing more to discuss, you like the beds and poems, I like straight talk and quality signings. I like to talk bollicks but it doesn`t make me a testicular expert.
dronskisaint Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Well theres nothing more to discuss, you like the beds and poems, I like straight talk and quality signings. Run along then eh?...shame your team wouldn't know anything about straight talk or quality signings - they can't even get David Connolly scoring!
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 God knows why you think I am a skate, stock answer and deflection I suppose, why would a skate who has no money on that Island part with a £5 note they hardly have? You cant think thats all I can say being inbred you are closer to them than me. That sunbed has melted your brain as well as your scruffy little Island head.
austsaint Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 God knows why you think I am a skate, stock answer and deflection I suppose, why would a skate who has no money on that Island part with a £5 note they hardly have? You cant think thats all I can say being inbred you are closer to them than me. That sunbed has melted your brain as well as your scruffy little Island head. I'll give you this much Barry - you've certainly added to your posts tally since joining in November last year.
pap Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 You're struggling skate....boring and repetitive...yawn dune is not a skate.
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 dune is not a skate. Where do you think I live Pap again?
aintforever Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 I wish Adkins would show some more guts and not be satisfied with mediocrity. Just because he is being positive in the post match interview doesn't mean he's satisfied with the results. I expect there is a big difference to what he says to the press and what he says to the players.
Tamesaint Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 I did and I am very happy with that and to be wrong, how many do you think we will get? So presumably you now think 1 point from the next 8 games?? It is not hard to see why people think you are a skate.

You're just getting even more boring with your puerile protestations...'methinks he doth protest too much' could have been written about you. I refer you to my invitation to look at your own posting record and then ask yourself why a number of posters have made the same deduction...if it posts like a skate, if it makes too many protestations about not being a skate, if it rattles on in a constantly negative and derogatory way about Saints like a skate then it probably is a skate! Now call that a stock answer if you like, call me names if it pleases you but do try hard to understand that it's your complete lack of subtlety that gives your gill-ridden proclivities away. Now call that a stock answer if you like, call me names if it pleases you but do try hard to understand that it's your complete lack of subtlety that gives your gill-ridden proclivities away. That is a stock answer and like pap you have no proof so for all your large words a bellend is a shorter one and far more apt for your self righteous attitude. I love Southampton and the club but that does not mean I am blind and have an Adkins love in like you seem to, I follow the shirt.
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 So presumably you now think 1 point from the next 8 games?? It is not hard to see why people think you are a skate. What because I am giving my opinion and am not overawed by Nigel Adkins personality?
the stain Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 I don't know if Barry is a skate, but he's definitely a **** who has gone by the name of Dune in the past.
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 I don't know if Barry is a skate, but he's definitely a **** who has gone by the name of Dune in the past. Have I ******** stain, ******** stain ha ha!

I love Southampton and the club but that does not mean I am blind and have an Adkins love in like you seem to, I follow the shirt. More protestations....Ted Bates was manager when I first saw a Saints game...there's a statue outside St Mary's for your education - I believe your club is going to put one up to Andronikou?
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 You believe incorrectly then, Bates is a legend, why did you bring him into it though? I think you are an aged strange person to be honest slinging out accusations without substance, you are not in the press are you?
dronskisaint Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Slinging out accusations? Once again I refer you to your own postings.... Obviously I am aged...I just gave you a clue as to how long I've supported Saints - who was P*mpey manager when you first supported them?
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 I have never supported the pom*ey, you are a strange man with strange thoughts.
dronskisaint Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Just a Saints supporter having a bit of fun with a skate....it's like an angler reeling in a fish:lol:
the stain Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Have I ******** stain, ******** stain ha ha! Have you been on the "coke" again?
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Just a Saints supporter having a bit of fun with a skate....it's like an angler reeling in a fish:lol: Is Bobby Davro your favourite comedian?
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Have you been on the "coke" again? No but someone on that narcotic would probably find the retorts so funny like..................................
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 I bet Jim Davidson is yours, "Barry" The Two Ronnies now your ask, Eddie Izzard, Tommy Cooper and Les Dawson all close though.
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 I bet Jim Davidson is yours, "Barry" Yours is Russ Abbot................
dronskisaint Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Is Bobby Davro your favourite comedian? Does Bobby Davro reel in dumb skates?
Sour Mash Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Will do a full reaction to the game post once home, but today was yet another good reminder how far we are from the top 5/6 of English football. Hate days like this, seeing the city of Southampton and St Marys taken over by a load of mouthy, band wagon jumping pr1cks.
Dr Who? Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Will do a full reaction to the game post once home, but today was yet another good reminder how far we are from the top 5/6 of English football. Hate days like this, seeing the city of Southampton and St Marys taken over by a load of mouthy, band wagon jumping pr1cks. Yet just 4 days earlier we looked good enough, and should have beaten Arsenal. I do not think Chelsea losing to QPR helped our cause against one of the best fa cup teams of the last few years. You all do know that Chelsea are in the top 3 yes, and were hurting from. Freak result on Wednesday. We have been playing some good stuff. I just thank god that today was the FA Cup.... Right lets watch the highlights. We will beat villa!
Kingsbridge Saint Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Hope they get QPR at home next. That'll sort them out. As for us, FA Cup, FA Schmup. Couldn't give a rats arse. Tainted trophy since the dirt down the road *won* it.
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Does Bobby Davro reel in dumb skates? Dont know has he been pulled up as well?
westofshannonsaint Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 how does anything on this page relate to the thread title?
dronskisaint Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 how does anything on this page relate to the thread title? My apologies, got carried away with skate-baiting -mea culpa!
anothersaintinsouthsea Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 FFS, forgot how boring this end of the message board was when we lose. When we got promoted last season did the bed wetters really think that this season would be much different?
GAS Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 Did ever so well for 44 mins played really well with changes in the team great goal from rodriguez their 2nd goal hit us hard we were always chasing the game after we will move on, wont dwell on this been on a good run playing some good football in the 2nd half we played the chelsea that are good enough to win the competition they clearly deserved the victory it was never a penalty but cant moan too much as chelsea were worthy winners dont know extent to Jose's injury, still being assessed we have to make sure we are ready for the aston villa game - crucialSo, what are you saying?
Red Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 ....when was this? compared to the start of the season, we are on a good run, just need get on an even better run!
Hamilton Saint Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 So, what are you saying? He's saying that this is what Adkins had to say during his post-game interview.
Red Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 On the other hand 2 defeats in 10 puts a different complexion on it. agree completely ...... it's all about perspective
alpine_saint Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 If there is any mod about, is it right that anyone who does less than gush over a good result or make whining straw-clutching excuses for a bad one, gets called a troll, a skate, or has their sanity questioned ??

Oh shut up, you trolling, skate nutcase.
alpine_saint Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 Oh shut up, you trolling, skate nutcase. A sense of humour - superb
Dalek2003 Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 If there is any mod about, is it right that anyone who does less than gush over a good result or make whining straw-clutching excuses for a bad one, gets called a troll, a skate, or has their sanity questioned ?? Seems not. Unless you are the 'Double Plus Good' brigade, you need broad shoulders.
Village Saint Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 Drawing away at Stoke when 3-1 up, managing a draw against Fulham who were woeful on the day due to crap keeping by Kelvin and not seeing off Arsenal when they were probably the poorest they had been all season. So yes excuse me If I don't see that as progress. 3 draws is equivalent to ONE win, I wish Adkins would show some more guts and not be satisfied with mediocrity. If you are serious you are a very very sad boy indeed. What do you actually go to matches for - if indeed you do go? The Stoke game was not only an excellent result but fantastic to be part of - a great experience - and an example of why despite all the love on here for the Championship it is great to be back in the Premier League. The performances at Stoke and against Arsenal were also very sound indeed. Indeed as you dont seem to have been keeping up - in the last 10 league games we have won 3 drawn 5 and lost only 2. Not only that but in those games we have played bright attacking football that quite rightly has drawn praise from a range of objective observers. By any yardstick that is not bad form.

LostBoys Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 I think we are where I expected taking into account the squad we came up with. The upsides have been the new players and the emergence of Luke Shaw but we clearly need strengthening in the obvious areas to ensure we stay up.

I go to matches to see Saints win. Therefore I am not minded to be be satisfied or ecstatic, when consistently through our manager and players shortcomings we repeatedly throw winning positions away.
Chewy Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 I go to matches to see Saints win. In which case why bother going to most games this season? We were never likely to win that many!
Edmonton Saint Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 In which case why bother going to most games this season? We were never likely to win that many! Because I actually believe that the squad is capable of doing much better than it is at present, and due to some bizarre and frankly intangible decisions by our management team we find ourselves just outside the relegation zone. It's very frustrating when you look back at the number of points we have just thrown away this season from extremely good positions.
david in sweden Posted 6 January, 2013 Posted 6 January, 2013 Agree ...and the villa game is more important and hopefully lessons will be learnt from this defeat. one lesson I learned after watching that game was .... that if Chelsea play like that too often .....we won't be the last team to concede 5 against them.......
