This Charming Man Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 "Our postponed Premier League game at Chelsea has been provisionally rearranged for Wednesday 16th January with a 7.45pm kick-off time:http://sfcne.ws/10XSB6v However, if this weekend's FA Cup game ends level, this month's trip to Stamford Bridge will be classed as a third-round replay. In that situation, our Premier League game at Stamford Bridge would again be rearranged for a date later in the season. Ticketing information to follow shortly."
stevegrant Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Less than two weeks' notice And it'll be £50-odd as well.
This Charming Man Posted 4 January, 2013 Author Posted 4 January, 2013 I always thought this would be re-arranged for April time or somthing like that.
Sour Mash Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Massively short-notice and how are they going to work tickets for this? Unless its the same size allocation and same price tickets for both games, which shouldn't really be the case.
rshephard3 Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Ticketing information to follow after Saturdays game. Will either be a £30 cup match or a £50 prem match. Massively short notice.

Unless its the same size allocation and same price tickets for both games, which shouldn't really be the case. Tickets will go on sale on Monday/Tuesday, so they will know then whether it's a league game or a cup game. Either way, it will still be pricey. Think Wolves paid £35 there for a League Cup game!
rshephard3 Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 It's a simple Cup, No, League, Yes for me. Not interested in FA cup there but league game will be interesting. I hope the Saints attendance wont be impacted too much, couldn't this have been planned before Christmas?!

Sour Mash Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 £47 for lower tier and £50 for the upper tier for the league game, they can stuff that!
This Charming Man Posted 4 January, 2013 Author Posted 4 January, 2013 £47 for lower tier and £50 for the upper tier for the league game, they can stuff that! Ridiculous. Starting to think I may give this and Man Utd a swerve. B*llocks to spending all that money to watch us get easily beaten 3-0 by their semi-reserve teams.
Griffo Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Really weird decision that. Can't imagine we'll take many to Chelsea at all now.
Nexstar Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Can't see a reason why they couldn't have arranged this a month ago, after the Cup draw was made.
SuperMikey Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Fúck going to that then. Should've rearranged it when they knew they were going to the CWC.
This Charming Man Posted 4 January, 2013 Author Posted 4 January, 2013 Can't see a reason why they couldn't have arranged this a month ago, after the Cup draw was made. Because that would involve thinking of the fans.
Griffo Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 F*ck paying 47/50 quid though. What do they think they're playing at with prices like those for their lowest category of game!?
Thedelldays Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 can see this game being a write off....a few days after the villa game and we play everton at home after..... then again, the everton home game is on a monday night
Griffo Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Maybe I can have a shave and buy a junior ticket. In fact not maybe, definitely. Sorted.
This Charming Man Posted 4 January, 2013 Author Posted 4 January, 2013 Maybe I can have a shave and buy a junior ticket. In fact not maybe, definitely. Sorted. Keep the bum fluff mate, will probably help you look 16...
Charlie Wayman Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Really weird decision that. Can't imagine we'll take many to Chelsea at all now. But "we have the best and most loyal fans in the world" according to Nigel so stop being a skinflint and go out .and get behind Nigel and the lads.
Griffo Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 (edited) But "we have the best and most loyal fans in the world" according to Nigel so stop being a skinflint and go out .and get behind Nigel and the lads. I've never said I'm not going to go. I'll be there one way or another. Anyway, says the one that said they were going to support Arsenal. Edited 4 January, 2013 by Griffo
Griffo Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Keep the bum fluff mate, will probably help you look 16... B*llocks. Got more of a beard than you could grow!

stevegrant Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Maybe I can have a shave and buy a junior ticket. In fact not maybe, definitely. Sorted. That's never going to happen
rshephard3 Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Maybe I can have a shave and buy a junior ticket. In fact not maybe, definitely. Sorted. There isn't any reason why an adult season ticket holder shouldn't buy a young adult ticket is there? I mean £50 is mental so anyone under about 30 would be silly not to try..

This Charming Man Posted 4 January, 2013 Author Posted 4 January, 2013 You know you'll both be there too, stop this rubbish! I'm not. I'm going to finally make a one man stand.
rick1976.4.38 Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 those who live in london should take into account that no expensive travel to fork out for,so have to swallow the outrageous ticket price and get there. to everyone else, tough decision to make. griffo, why shave, youve got in everywhere else this season at non adult prices
Griffo Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 griffo, why shave, youve got in everywhere else this season at non adult prices Think you're talking about someone else? That's not me. Definitely not.
rshephard3 Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 It's U16 or adult, don't think Chelsea do a young adult category. Cheers, but balls! Can manage young adult with a shave but not school child. Never mind.
Sour Mash Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 The problem is, even by boycotting at that price, it won't help drive the price down in the future, but will just be an excuse for clubs to squeeze out away support more and more, safe in the knowledge that they'll be able to fill the remaining seats with football tourists from Japan and Norway who are happy to pay the one off £50 for a trip to Stamford Bridge.
RedWillie Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 £47 for lower tier and £50 for the upper tier for the league game, they can stuff that! This is disgusting . They can poke it. Easy trip up the road and I was off that day to. Radio Solent for me or a dodgy stream.
September Saint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Should we have a second "Chelsea build-up" thread
bender Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 If we draw tomorrow cant the game be a double wammo. We could go there, collect 3 points and get through to the 4th round all in one night.
