Morning all,

As you may or may not have noticed, on New Years Eve we were the target for a bunch of annoying hackers. After spending a few days investigating this, it appears as though there's a security vulnerability within the Arcade plugin we've had installed and running on SaintsWeb for some time, and this loophole has been used to deface the site.

In order to plug this hole, I have had to remove the arcade. I appreciate that a number of you used it regularly, and I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but the security of the site and user data is infinitely more important.

Cheers

Steve

Mr Logic head on.

If user safety and integrity are infinitely more important than the arcade section, you're essentially saying that the Arcade section was of zero importance.

Will ever come back if you can sort out the loop hole. Steve

It's a third-party plugin, so if the developers who made it can fix it (and prove that it's been fixed) then I'll certainly look at re-installing it, but they've not released an updated version for a couple of years now so I wouldn't hold your breath.
