Wes Tender Posted 3 January, 2013 Share Posted 3 January, 2013 With a run in like yours you've definitely got a chance, no doubt. The thing is, that as we're half way through the season, most of the teams also have a similar run of games in the second half of the season. Their run of matches isn't any easier, although arguably their initial run of opponents is not as dificult as say our opening handful were, so they might gain some confidence which gives them momentum. But unless they win with regularity, any momentum will disappear. A win against Chelsea will not be a big confidence boost if they then lose at Tottenham and Everton. tajjuk Posted 3 January, 2013 Share Posted 3 January, 2013 Are you offering odds on that? I'd have a tenner they'll get more than 3 points in 6 games if you're offering? I'm not a bookies, it's just my opinion. Where do you see the extra points (and how many) coming from?

The Kraken Posted 3 January, 2013 Share Posted 3 January, 2013 I'm not a bookies, it's just my opinion. Where do you see the extra points (and how many) coming from? I think Harry will have a galvanising effect on them. I've commented before, I think they'll stay up comfortably. IMO they've got a better team than their position suggests, and despite his protests to the contrary Redknapp will be active in the transfer market and bring in some good players (as well as Tal Ben Haim which is admittedly an odd signing). I wouldn't like to pick out what they'll do in each particular game, but I think they'll win at least one out of that six and at least pick up another win or at least a draw or two. 3 points from 6 games is a pitiful amount and I just can't see such a low total. I obviously hope I'm wrong, of course.

Yep, the sack-faced old crook will use every one of his illegal and illicit links, and probably his off-shore bank account, in order to manipulate some players his way......he truly is a despicable piece of ****

I obviously hope I'm wrong, of course. Me too. They will pick up more points in March/April but personally I can't see two wins in there for them, yesterday was a one-off IMO and I think they will get thumped by Spurs next, especially with Bale back. Realistically though we could only be looking at about 3pts from the next 6, I think we need to beat Villa and Wigan away which will be tough asks and we are unlikely to get anything from Utd, City, Everton and away at Newcastle.
