Saint Scott Posted 2 January, 2013 Posted 2 January, 2013 Im planning on driving to the game this Saturday instead of catching the train as per usual. I seem to remember when I drove a couple of years back there is some side streets on the opposite side of the Itchen Bridge that are free to park in. I can't for the life of me remember any of their names, if anyone does would make it a lot easier for me to pop into the sat nav for the journey up?
kwsaint Posted 2 January, 2013 Posted 2 January, 2013 Normally I park somewhere in Bitterne. Only a 20 min walk and you get out of Southampton quickly.
The Cat Posted 2 January, 2013 Posted 2 January, 2013 I normally park in Radstock Road, it's fine to park anywhere from Manor Road South up. The closest to the bridge you can get for free is to drive down Garton Road and past Woolston Station where it turns into a dead end. Make sure you turn the car around first though as it can get pretty tight down there.
hasper57saint Posted 2 January, 2013 Posted 2 January, 2013 Park under the East side of the Itchen Bridge. Not only is it free but only a 15 minute walk to the Stadium.
