JRM Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Plenty of tickets left in the Chapel, look around block 13. Very limited elsewhere. remember we are playing in white on satuday as well. there are still quite a few elsewhere, below summary shows how many are available in each block still, a total of 3,579. Blocks both sides of the chapel corners are virtually empty. surpried block 3 is so empty, would have thought more of the Northam would have moved over there. 1 0 2 3 3 243 4 41 5 10 6 1 7 0 8 0 9 11 10 32 11 124 12 229 13 304 14 258 (out of 298) 15 346 16 59 17 206 18 171 19 254 20 139 21 63 22 142 23 130 24 97 25 183 26 151 27 32 28 31 29 18 30 15 31 1 32 28 33 28 34 39 35 76 36 74 37 35 38 5 39 0 40 0 41 0
saintrich Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 I'd go with: Boruc Richardson Hoovield Yoshida Shaw Ward-Prowse Davis Guly Ramirez Puncheon Rodriguez
Window Cleaner Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 I'd go with: Boruc Richardson Hoovield Yoshida Shaw Ward-Prowse Davis Guly Ramirez Puncheon Rodriguez Midfield is too weak, if we really want to win it's either Morgan or Cork and one other as a minimum. Think they both might play myself. Richardson will get taken apart which is evidently why Jack Cork was at RB on Tuesday. If we want to win then it's at least 9 first team regular starters in the line-up.

On mine when you click on blocks 1 and 2 it only shows seats in block 1 for me.
DrunkenSaint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 I'd play a little bit of a mix of fringe and regular players --------------------Boruc Richardson ----Fonte----Yoshida-----Fox ----------------Cork---- JWP----------- ------Punch------ Ramirez -------Guly-- --------------------Lee---------------- subs: Gazza, Shaw, Jos, S.Davis, SDR, JRod
Roger Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 I'd play a little bit of a mix of fringe and regular players --------------------Boruc Richardson ----Fonte----Yoshida-----Fox ----------------Cork---- JWP----------- ------Punch------ Ramirez -------Guly-- --------------------Lee---------------- subs: Gazza, Shaw, Jos, S.Davis, SDR, JRod Lee instead of j rod. Jesus u are drunk!
DrunkenSaint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Lee instead of j rod. Jesus u are drunk! Lee will give us more than what Rod gives us atm. J.Rod will become good but i just don't think he's good enough quite yet. Lee's movement off the ball and that turn of pace will give us more options in build ups, he is also untried and we need to see if he can bring something to the team, everyone said last season how good he was but everyone has just seemed to forget him probably cause of a 7m price tag on JRod (very overpriced). I said in another thread a while back, if Lee's transfer was 7m and JRod was a free, we would be placing him in the team every week. If we can get Lee and Gaston on the same wave length it would be a great combination, Lee is a very good and intelligent player.

pangy Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Playing with a lone striker you need someone that can hold the ball up and bring others into play, thats why Rickie is so valuable as he is great at that,Lee would get destroyed on his own up top
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Rodriguez will be our main striker within a couple of seasons.
doggface Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 I'd go with: Boruc Richardson Hoovield Fonte Fox Ward-Prowse Davis Guly Ramirez Lee Rodriguez Mayuka,De Ridder,Lambert,Cork,Gazza
PhilippineSaint Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 We should be ok today as Lawrenson has given us a 0-2 defeat
benjii Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 My pick: Boruc Frazer Yoshi Jos Fox Davis JWP Guly Reeves De Ridder Rodriguez Sub: Gazza, Clyne, Cork, Ramirez, Lambert, Mayuka, Lee
Shroppie Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 My pick: Boruc Frazer Yoshi Jos Fox Davis JWP Guly Reeves De Ridder Rodriguez Sub: Gazza, Clyne, Cork, Ramirez, Lambert, Mayuka, Lee Would agree with that team. To those suggesting a strong lineup, would you feel the same if we picked up an injury or two, maybe a sending off and suspension against Villa?
scotsaintsfan Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Good luck to the squad this afternoon, I will be cheering you on from all the way up here in the north of Scotland ! Come on you saints !!
St Marco Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Chelsea to pick strongest team and give Ba his debut according to Rafa. It will be interesting to see what Adkins does here.
Saint Garrett Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Boruc; Clyne Fonte Yoshi Shaw; Morgan Cork; Punch Gaston Guly; J-Rod
alehouseboys Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Chelsea to pick strongest team and give Ba his debut according to Rafa. It will be interesting to see what Adkins does here. Then I hope NA picks a strong starting 11. Chelsea will be smarting after losing at home to lowly local rivals and looking for a backlash. We don't need a moral-bashing heavy home defeat. As other have said, resting players probably wouldn't have the desired effect as the recent 2 week break proved. The only change I'd make is Rodrigues in for Lambert (on the bench) and give him the opportunity to show he's a viable option. And a 30,000 crowd doesn't deserve a 'reserve' side either.
THEVMAN Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Starting with a strong team just resting a couple of players, possibly Shaw and one other.
trousers Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Starting with a strong team just resting a couple of players, possibly Shaw and one other. Cheers dude
dubai_phil Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Southampton FC @officialsaints If you're getting kitted out for today's match, don't forget Saints will be in all-white for our FA Cup games this season! #saintsfc
Saint Garrett Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Wouldn't be surprised if Shaw and Morgan/Lambert are rested. Both played a lot of games an Luke is only young
Dr Who? Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Would love a cup run, but cannot see it. Another 2003 would do me. I think about that season a lot, and it was fantastic, just a shame we did not beat or even look like beating Arsenal on the day! Right at the end we so nearly levelled it all up, but it to be. No reason we cannot beat this lot, but they always seem to do well in the FA cup, but just maybe. Please!!
trousers Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Programmes only £2...how are we supposed to stay self sufficient at that price? Cortese out!

Wiziwig says there are 35 stations announced to broadcast it! http://www.wiziwig.tv/broadcast.php?matchid=185113&part=sports There certainly should be a stream, as the game is being shown live here (via Sentanta I believe).

Restark19 Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 (edited) Did Ramirez pick up a knock against Arsenal? Edited 5 January, 2013 by Restark19
trousers Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Did Ramirez pick up a knock against Arsenal? Yep, another dead leg - but not as serious as before according to Adkins at the time...
Jack Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Did Ramirez pick up a knock against Arsenal? He's in Italy with Cortese, part of the negotiating team for Davide Astori
Georgie Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Apparently Ramirez has a dead leg again :-/ he was in training yesterday so must of picked it up then

Jack Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Stronger side than I was expecting. Could beat a below par Chelsea.
itchen_dan Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Stronger side than I was expecting. Could beat a below par Chelsea. The line-up is definitely not below par though! ChelseaAnalysis: Chelsea line-up vs. Southampton: Turnbull - Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Cole - David Luiz, Ramires - Moses, Mata, Hazard - Ba. #CFC
Saint Charlie Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Apparently Ramirez has a dead leg again :-/ he was in training yesterday so must of picked it up then Not correct. Went off vs Arsenal with a dead leg. Not too bad as was in training Thursday. Source: NA interview
Jack Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 The line-up is definitely not below par though! Fair enough. Need them to have an off day as they did against QPR.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 5 January, 2013 Posted 5 January, 2013 Saints team: Boruc, Cork, Fonte ©, Yoshida, Shaw, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Ward-Prowse, Puncheon, Rodriguez, Guly. #saintsfc 0-3 after seeing the line ups
