I really enjoyed it, having read (and loved) the book, I was pleased at how well the film stuck to the story, even with a few bits taken out. I was sceptical as to whether the book would translate to film very well, but hey really made it work. Unsurprisingly for Ang Lee it is visually stunning. Just wondered if anyone else has seen it, and what they thought? Think it may split opinions. I heard a guy on the way out saying "I thought it was going to be like jungle book", suggesting he probably hasn't read the book. I wonder if that influences people's perceptions of the film?

timebomb Posted 13 January, 2013 Posted 13 January, 2013 I really enjoyed the film. I read the book when it came out but only having seen the film did I fully understand it and the hidden meanings of the animals.
