The Majestic Channon Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 Anyone else heard we are after him? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wellington_Nem
Miltonroader07 Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 Do we need an attacking midfielder? NO Do we need Sharp back YES Do we need Alan Hansen (ideally) at the back YES Do we need better Defensive Coaches YES Opinions ??
Colinjb Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 If he is a wide-forward and can fill in on the wings it'll be a no-brainer. Linked to a Brazillian (ok, just hear'say right now...) and Italian international in the same window. Certainly different!!
Faz Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 5ft 5.5ins. Really? Even Sian the lineswoman would dwarf him.
Saint Garrett Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 Do we need an attacking midfielder? NO Do we need Sharp back YES Do we need Alan Hansen (ideally) at the back YES Do we need better Defensive Coaches YES Opinions ?? Why would we want Sharp back when we play 1 up front and have about 4 players who are better than him in that position? Why would we want a 57 year old playing for us at the back? What do you know about the defensive coaches that we already have? A lot of the goals we have conceded have come from individual errors, the coaches can't teach that.

Alain Perrin Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 It's a well known fact that NC is half Italian, half Swiss and half Brazilian - therefore clearly he is behind this signing.... I'd argue that a wide forward is just what we've been after (hence pursuit of Matt Phillips)
The Majestic Channon Posted 31 December, 2012 Author Posted 31 December, 2012 5ft 5.5ins. Really? Even Sian the lineswoman would dwarf him. Maybe this one doesn't have legs
Window Cleaner Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 Maybe this one doesn't have legs would be a close thing whether he or Lennon were the smallest player in the PL, have to measure in millimetres.
pingwing Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 Put football manager down and accept this years wonderkid buy at the start of the game isn't someone every prem team is going to be hammering after because he's good on football manager.
VectisSaint Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 5ft 5.5ins. Really? Even Sian the lineswoman would dwarf him. Doesn't seem to be doing Nathan Dyer too much harm

Bearsy Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 5ft 5.5ins. Really? Even Sian the lineswoman would dwarf him. Clearly a Cortese signing

Agree with this, any real links or is this purely because he has a release clause on FM? He is a brazil international though so can't be terrible. Obligatory youtube vid - Edited 31 December, 2012 by tajjuk
VectisSaint Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 With the rain we are having signing a Wellington might be a wise move. Just hope he has no beef with the English weather.
Window Cleaner Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 Where are we linked with him? http://www.agentcrap.com likely as not
pingwing Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 Agree with this, any real links or is this purely because he has a release clause on FM? From what I can see it is only that release clause on FM, nothing legit has been mentioned by anyone anywhere.

Saint Fan CaM Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 Looks like Steeeeeve De Ridder. Not needed.
Tommy Mulgrew Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 some wonderful names in the Fluminense squad!
Window Cleaner Posted 31 December, 2012 Posted 31 December, 2012 some wonderful names in the Fluminense squad! probably because most of them play under nicknames...you know like Guly
kpturner Posted 1 January, 2013 Posted 1 January, 2013 Agree with this, any real links or is this purely because he has a release clause on FM? mesaint Posted 1 January, 2013 Posted 1 January, 2013 5ft 5.5ins. Really? Even Sian the lineswoman would dwarf him. Now lets see, who else has played for Saints, an international star who won a world cup medal & was 5' 5". Oh yes, Alan Ball, he was pretty good for a little-un.
