KelvinsRightGlove Posted 30 December, 2012 Posted 30 December, 2012 I just don't get this guy, I really do not. He clearly has talent. But one minute you hear of talk a potential £15-20m move to PSG, AC Milan, Barca, Real. The next, he can't even get into the Moroccan national squad. Maybe it is just my ignorance, as I admit I know little about the state of the Moroccan team, but surely this doesn't all add up? Is Taarabt really that good? Are Morroco really that good? Can anyone shed some light on this?
Colinjb Posted 30 December, 2012 Posted 30 December, 2012 Apparently he snubbed a meeting with the Morocco manager when he came to London to speak to him recently. That led to him being left out.
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 30 December, 2012 Author Posted 30 December, 2012 Oh really? I missed that entirely. Last I saw was AT saying how much he loved his country and he was desperate to help them anyway he could. Odd.

Glasgow_Saint Posted 30 December, 2012 Posted 30 December, 2012 on paper QPR have a good team.......Taarabt one of the best imho

Hmmm, I totally missed that one too. on paper QPR have a good team.......Taarabt one of the best imho They do, but, how many of those players (AT bring one of the few exceptions clearly) can you say are at their best or have their best years ahead of them? To me, it seems Hughes/QPR's recruitment policy was a bit blinkered by names that had achieved previously instead of looking for those likely to achieve in the future or at their peak.

Players IN since the summer = 11 Players OUT = 22 (more than i thought) From the 11 signed only 3 are 25 or under In comparison we signed 8 and 6 were 23 or under
