Berkshire Saint Posted 30 December, 2012 Share Posted 30 December, 2012 Southampton Portsmouth Bournemouth QPR Reading Wycombe Liverpool Leyton Orient Sheffield United Stevenage Fulham Preston Rotherham (when they were at the Don Valley) Leeds Blackburn S****horpe Everton Sheffield Wednesday Peterborough Notts County Derby Crystal Palace Rochdale Birmingham Walsall Stoke Nottingham Forest Huddersfield West Brom Doncaster Aldershot Milwall Coventry Middlesbrough Charlton Leicester West Ham Watford Dagenham 39 I make that. Started going when I was at Uni in Sheffield as couldn't make home games and there were plenty of grounds within easy access from there. Still got quite a few Prem grounds to do and planning on going to most aways between now and the end of the season (Man City and Arsenal are the only league ones I've missed so far this year). Also been to Wembley, Millennium Stadium and go and watch my local Conference South side Maidenhead United quite a bit as well.

View From The Top Posted 30 December, 2012 Author Share Posted 30 December, 2012 You can't count Rotherham I'm afraid. I'm in that position with Rotherham, Colchester & Oxford. Plus Hereford and Luton dropping out of the league.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 31 December, 2012 Share Posted 31 December, 2012 Currently on 48/92. In case you've not seen it, this is a good website: http://www.footballgroundmap.com/.

stevegrant Posted 31 December, 2012 Share Posted 31 December, 2012 80 so far, Wigan in February will be 81. Almost certain to lose two at the end of the season, I've been to each of the bottom 6 of League Two.

badgerx16 Posted 31 December, 2012 Share Posted 31 December, 2012 Tend to only go to 'home' games, so have seen Saints at Blackpool, Bolton ( Reebok ), Blackburn, Morecambe, Everton, Preston, Man Utd, Huddersfield, plus went to watch Swansea ( @ The Vetch ) when at Uni. This Charming Man Posted 31 December, 2012 Share Posted 31 December, 2012 68/92 for me. Two new ones to come this season, lost a few in recent years to non-league and expect a couple more to go this season.

The Cat Posted 2 January, 2013 Share Posted 2 January, 2013 62, but I've lost 5 due to relegations and new stadiums. Lots of us will lose another when Pompey are liquidated.

Kenilworthy Posted 3 January, 2013 Share Posted 3 January, 2013 I completed the 92 in 1994. But with new teams joining the league and the new grounds that have opened since I have got 9 outstanding, but will see off Wigan shortly. Overall total is 120. However, since my 15-year old son started going regularly in 2005 he has seen us in three different divisions and has already clocked up 69 grounds. fanimal Posted 3 January, 2013 Share Posted 3 January, 2013 78 now, with relocations like Derby, Leicester, Coventry, Boro only counting as one. Wigan and Swansea are the stand out two, the rest are in lower leagues up north, muck like Griffo above.
The9 Posted 5 January, 2013 Share Posted 5 January, 2013 70/92 for me, thought I'd lost a few through ground moves but on recounting it's only Oxford, and there are only 4 Conference teams who used to be in the League that I've visited. Newcastle, Sunderland and Wigan will complete the Prem for me, Ipswich and Hull for Championship. After that it's places I have no inclination to visit, most glaring omissions are Crawley, Oxford, Aldershot and Bath City. Oh, and Newport in the Conference, seeing as they've moved this season. However, I've got 127 in total on footballgrounds.co.uk due to a few international tournaments, and endless trips to crappy shacks in south Wales and across the west country playing and watching non-League in the '90s and early 00s.
