Really don't know what to think about this game. Arsenal seem to have got a bit of form and we are a mixed bag right now.

I think it would definately take a point right now.

Big question is what changes would you make assuming AL is fit agin.

ramirez will feature...surely....hope if he does he is not wasted out on the left...

they are in fine form at the mo...walcott especially

Looking foreward to this, won`t be such a scrap as today

Please predict a 3 - 1 loss;)

Sadly can't see anything other than a defeat here but at least all the teams around us have equally tough games.

Arsenal are an odd team, you can never really say what Arsenal will turn up.

The Bradford result is a fine example. Take the game to them, put them under pressure, and they will buckle.

Goals in this for sure - probably for both!

I think we can get at least a draw and are capable of a win. A point wouldn't be disastrous if you look at who the teams around us are playing:

Swansea V Aston Villa

Tottenham V Reading

Wigan V Man United

Chelsea V QPR

And better include Newcastle V Everton.

This is a bloody great game.

If we can combine the football we played in spells against Man Utd with the battling and closing down we displayed against Stoke then we are in with a chance.

Oh one thing I will say, we need to take the lead, go behind and we will struggle to win the game. Only managed to win once from behind!

Go 2-0 up and we will struggle to win the game.

Think this game will be hit or miss. Or we will win quite comfortably or get thrashed, this wont be a draw. If we let Arsenal play their own game they will finish us, so think we should pass the ball around and play players with a bit of pace.

Has anyone heard any rumours how Lallana is getting on?

You'll never get anything from the club, but don't expect to see him back until March at the earliest.

Oh well, let's not bother turning up then. Got more important things to do anyway.

Just saying it how it is. If we are 2-0 up with 10mins left I still wouldn't put money on us closing it out.

Hopefully the team will have learned from the away game and we try to close down their midfield 3 rather than backing off all game and allowing them to pick out killer passes at will.

If we can make it scrappy in midfield we can get something out of the game.

From Sunderland, Fulham, Stoke and Arsenal I would have taken 4 points. 3 points after the Arsenal game would do. A point would be a good result on Tuesday, but I can't see it. Just a good performance on Sky please.

We need to bully them and that means midfield 3 being completely on top of their game - anything less and we'll be toast. Mind you, it's going to take a real miracle to come away with any points from this game. They outclass us all over the pitch and play in a similar fashion with that quality - i.e. keep ball. Chances are going to be very few and far between which means clinical finishing. Oh well. Mmm, probably 1-5 or similar.

I don't fancy NA having to pick a team after yesterday. Guly, JR, RL would all feel hard done by if dropped but I think it's nailed on that we'll revert to 4231 with GR in the team and probably in the hole.

I said before yesterdays game that we'll compete and I think tomorrow will be close. NA has wised up tactically and he won't play into their hands like we did at at their place.

2-2

Saw some of the Arse-Toon game yesterday, most of it in fact, thought Newcastle were absolute junk in midfield and gifted Arsenal numerous free balls. Tiote was the prime offender, probably just dreaming him way to the ANC. Obertan however gave Sagna a pretty torrid time down the left for a while perhaps we could do that as well. Someone needs to get a grip on Wilshere, wind him up a bit, he'll get sent off if we do that, plays on Cork's side usually so that's his job then.

NA picked a tactically correct Team for Stoke to start but then spoilt it when 3-1 up against 10 men, by bringing on defenders when we had pace on the bench which would have done very nicely against a tired side. I only hope he gets it right against the Arse especially with OXO and Theo in the side and their parents in the Itchen.

what pace ? Reckon GR was very doubtful myself, bench filler only to be played in dire necessity and I'm getting the impression that NA only played Mayuka a couple of games back under duress. Seems we have a couple of players that NA doesn't want here and he's determined to have nothing to do with him whilst he's picking the side. In my opinion he'll be gone if we get beaten on Tuesday anyway but I'm hopeful that we won't.

looking forward to booing Mr Chamberlain

Some folks never learn! You would think the afternoon that Kevin Phillips returned to SMS and the chant went up as he stood on the touch line waiting to come on "stand up if you sh4gged his wife!!". His second touch within seconds of coming on was nestling in the back of our net!!

Wouldn't boo him, wouldn't cheer or applaud him or Walcott either.

easy win

Can only assume you mean Mr Mark Chamberlain, if so I could live with that, assuming he is at the game. Booing Mr Oxlade-Chamberlain would be a different matter, no reason to boo him, just because he was ill-advised by his Skate dad.

how come ill advised, lad has had an England place and is getting a pretty regular game for one of the country's top few clubs.

No doubt earning a shedload as well not to mention working with some of the best coaches in the land. Can't see anything ill advised about any of that. In fact I'd say to any of our players who get a decent offer from a top 10 side to go for it. Then again as most will know I'm not over impressed by what I see of our coaching.

Walcott and Chamberlain should both get good receptions.

Both had the respect to come and clap the away fans at the Emirates and both have said how good their time was at Saints.

Anyone who boos are probably the same wallies that boo our own players. Largely its a lack of intelligence I think.

Yes, I know. Lambert had a good game yesterday, but it's an inconvenient truth that he's not especially fit. Arsenal like to move the ball around and we'll need to run very hard to keep up with them. A player who will tire, drift out of the game and give the ball away lots after 60 minutes isn't the sort of player we want to start.
