Villa have been in freefall lately and I reckon Wigan have a better chance of avoiding the drop than they do come the end of the season.
S-Clarke Posted 29 December, 2012 Posted 29 December, 2012 Impressive stuff really. Tactically setup perfectly. exploiting their weaknesses and their problems, and getting rewards every time. Rodriguez's movement up to is causing all sorts of problems, Lamberts movememnt in behind has been as good as normal - classic lambert. Guly has been great as well, making use of their right back weakness and turning them all over. Defensively, very good shape. I think we've kept a decent line and seem well switched on to their attacks. The midfield is on the game, and is eating up every 50/50 ball which is what we needed them to do today. Long way to go though, need to withstand a pretty big onslaught in the 2nd half I'd have thought.

I'm still not certain we'll get anything from the game, but that's because I'm a pessimist.
