Davide Astori Southampton target?

Some more Liverpool links today, need to get this one over the line. Coutinho would be a bonus if it came to anything but this is key to our survival chances IMO.
Hopefully we're lining up a couple of other bids for similar quality CBs to 1) Push Cagliari along and put the pressure back on them. 2) To ensure we do get a quality CB in sooner rather than later.

There is competition for both Astori and Coutinho however I have heard from someone ITK on transfers in general (not saints specifically) that Saints are well placed on both fronts. Not to say we wont be gazumped along the line but as it stands both deals are progressing well it seems. Be good to get a CB in asap as we are fooked with big Jos in the team.

And Yoshida, Fonte, Fox, Gazzaniga and Boruc..............................

Maybe, but do we really want to be outbidding Liverpool for players?

It's not 1995 anymore and we are no longer at the Dell!!! DIdn't people say Kevin Keegan would never sign for us!! This is a massive statement of intent!

And here are a few of his finest moment!

It's Turkish release v13. New IOS upgrade has adjusted default mode to be "postive" rather than "sarcastic". It also has a "serious discussion" mode which automatically gets turned on when discussing new players, finances, chariman and transfers. There was a glitch in that v13 still slips into "p*ss taking" when discussing things such as fancy dress or other mundane and pathetic subjects. "Sarcastic" is still an option but needs to be selected rather than an automatic shift in mode whenever the mood takes.

How to select that method does not need to be made public.

Has the leakage issue been rectified as part of this new release?

Not really sure Liverpool are serious competitors in this, they have Agger and Skrtel, plus carragher and cates as backup and I doubt they would spend £10 million in area that doesn't really need improving. If they sold one of those maybe, but I think they need improvement in other areas.

Plus they have a recent transfer history of buying overpriced english players so it's in those cases we don't want to be outbidding them.

They're struggling to stump up the cash for Ince, so doubt they would be looking to spend £10m on a back up CB.

Liverpool cannot compete with us in the transfer market. Fact

Spent all their money for years on magic beans (and overrated english players). They couldn't even stump up more than 2m for Clint Dempsy... Indicates they have no money up front and are getting laughed out the show because of it.

Says the man with a dead midget as his avatar and he goes by the name of Turkish, why would I want to be a scouser? I dont want to be a scouser at all, I am a Sotonian and a proud one but one who happens to find Millbrook, Thornhill and Shirley as ****e as parts of Liverpool, the difference is th ****e parts up here there are things to do and nights out that dont revolve around getting hammered before 2200, thats when Southampton closes doesn't it?

When I went out in Liverpool it was about the same as any other city centre, maybe a tad cheaper than here but the same drunk people, police, same bars and clubs really, just a tad bigger. Bristol is a better night out IMO

Agree though there are some sh*t parts of Southampton, just like Liverpool, Liverpool is just bigger so it's crap parts cover more area, you can get lost in the crap. Whereas the areas around Soton are better.

Their squad isn't much better than ours, or at least it's not performing much better. Very reliant on Suarez who is a class above and an aging Gerrard. The likes of Agger, Skrtel, Reina aren't performing to to their usual standards.

Thats true but we are always hearing about randow beatings whilst being drunk and the like, up here its a straightener and its pretty much sorted out, just look at todays page of the Echo, Liverpool's Echo no diferrent but its a far far bigger City with an outlying area of over a Million people, parts are rough but other parts not.
