Wiggles31 Posted 27 December, 2012 Share Posted 27 December, 2012 Loads to chose from. Lambert's first premiership goal against City. The promotion celebrations on the pitch. Millwall away. Going mad when Lamert buried his second penalty right in front of me. Signing Ramirez. So many. What are yours fellow fans?
Jack Posted 27 December, 2012 Share Posted 27 December, 2012 Forest away - was the first away win of the season for me after about 7 attempts. Millwall away x2. Both brilliant days out, but the league game was on a different level because of the result, and us winning £650 between 5 of us thanks to Rickie's hat trick. Promotion day, from what I can remember of it. The feeling of being back in the prem.... ...which quickly evaporated with the feeling that it's not what it used to be. Restark19 Posted 27 December, 2012 Share Posted 27 December, 2012 (edited) The minute or so that we were 2-1 up at home to the skates. Atmosphere was incredible. Of course it went sour after that but i'll never forget those few minutes Edited 27 December, 2012 by Restark19 Poor spelling
david in sweden Posted 27 December, 2012 Share Posted 27 December, 2012 maybe the end result wasn't perfect, but going 2-1 up.... against Man City on the opening day .....said something about our potential to be a good (enough) Prem. side

lambertsrightleg Posted 27 December, 2012 Share Posted 27 December, 2012 Milwall away. Got the train up from Exeter, got smashed and from what I can remember of the last couple of minutes it was awesome. Went out in Exeter that evening and had to be carried home at midnight. Probably the best away game I've ever done

S-Clarke Posted 27 December, 2012 Share Posted 27 December, 2012 Away at Millwall, great day. Watford away was another great effort, will remember that one for a while. - same as posh away. Cov at home, obviously. The celebrations after that knowing we had done it. Finding out we had the possibility of signing Ramirez, and then actually doing it. The Man City game, watching us take the lead at Eastlands. Our thrashing of Villa in our first home and league win. Seeing Shaw and J-WP make their first team debuts and look above their age in the PL. Seeing us learn and adapt to the PL as it's gone along, and as a club having the patience to stick with the management which served us so well. Jack Posted 27 December, 2012 Share Posted 27 December, 2012 You mean getting beat every week? It was always like that. Not that at all. Sh*t atmospheres, plastic fans, £50 a ticket, the ridiculous wages and transfer fees being chucked about, even by sh*t teams. It's not what it was a decade ago. Dr Who? Posted 27 December, 2012 Share Posted 27 December, 2012 Palace away 0-2, completely outplayed them. Then while standing at the station on the way home, West Ham were 1-3 down to Brum. It finished 3-3, but was the moment I thought, we are going up. Again Posh away 1-3, and West Ham again only drawing at Bristol City, we were up! View From The Top Posted 27 December, 2012 Share Posted 27 December, 2012 Millwall (A). Simply the best away game I've done in a couple of decades. That I got to share it with my nipper made it all the better.
