Do the Premier league still have a fair play place for the Europa League?

If so, unless we sign a Terry Hurlock Rottweiler style player in January, Saints are in danger of securing it ,as currently only Arsenal are above us and they will probably get into Europe by other means.

I'd rather see the $k@tes win every remaining game this season than qualify for Europe right now. Crap way of qualifying for a crap tournament that would do us no favours at all. Understand why you would raise the point, but it must be the last thing we would need

Agree, enter at the first qualifying round as well, screws up pre season. Think it starts early July or something. Not sure I'd rather see the Skates win every game instead though :-)

Im in the group of fans quite happy to see us play in europe and have a decent away days whilst we can! Few and far between for us saints fans, we're ******** in the league anyways so who cares?! If we get in the cup lets chuck a team out there and see what happens!

Players are obviously under instructions not to get cards.Pulling out of tackles that they would have gone for in the first 10 games or so. Cork for one needs to stick some more tackles in. Hope it's not affecting our overall game.

The rules they use are here :- http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/fair-play-calculation.html It is only the Behaviour of the Team Officials that stops us from being top. Here is a quote from the marking

Positive and negative aspects of the team officials’ conduct will be assessed – such as whether they calm down or provoke angry players or fans and how they accept the decisions of the referee. Co-operation with the media will also be taken into account."

So it is the fans who are keeping Saints out of Europe ?

As we now have less cards than Arsenal we should have made up the minute difference on points per game. I am sure that we're going for this because we haven't had a card since err Lallana for diving ?

Our bookings this year have either been for diving or over-the-top goal celebrations, can think of maybe two for actual fouls?

no Morgan and Jos both have cards for fouls but Jos has been dropped and Morgan's been told to cut it out obviously even though it makes his game less solid. CMs get cards,most have been suspended already either for 5 yellows or a red. Since Wilshere has been back the Arse have had cards shovelled on them, he gets one most games I think, then again they'e probably not thinking of qualifying for Europe on fair play.
