Jamboree bag selection policy last Saturday, transfer window time.
Saint Charlie Posted 25 December, 2012 Share Posted 25 December, 2012 scores a lot of goals in training apparently, Tommy Forecast no doubt made a few saves in training as well. Jamboree bag selection policy last Saturday, transfer window time. Well lots had thought he would be worth a start and NA said he was on fire in training last week so not that much of a suprise. Easy to criticise after the event, what team would you play tomorrow?

Be a big call to drop Lambert though. Jay Rod I think will be good but needs to start showing it soon.

We need pace in attack, Lambert doesn't have any, he also makes us totally transparent, his time has come and gone as a starter.

VectisSaint Posted 25 December, 2012 Share Posted 25 December, 2012 Davis (not willingly but we won't play Boruc and Gazza isn't fit ) Clyne Yoshida Fonte Shaw Morgan Cork Davis Gaston Puncheon J Rod Gazza is fit, he had "recovered" from shoulder injury for last game apparently. [Not sure I actually believed he was injured in the first place, think it was probably a tactical injury]. I would play Lee and Lambert "up front". I guess Mayuka is trying hard in training at the moment to help get selected for the ACON. As things stand it would not be a surprise if Zambia didn't play him due to lack of games, even though he will be in the squad. I think anyway its another week or so until they go to the ACON. Usually just after the FA Cup 3rd round is played.

Usually just after the FA Cup 3rd round is played. although not an expert on Fulham's defensive frailties, I've remarked that most of the goals they concede of late are scored by players who run at defences (Taraabt,Ben Arfa, Defoe, Suarez even Downing) what that don't seem to concede are headed goals and tap ins. So we need to run at them so I'd guess that Gaston and J Rod would be best for that. I like Lee but I just despair of ever seeing him in the first team again. Think he'll be off soon, new season in Japan in March I think.
Olallana Posted 25 December, 2012 Share Posted 25 December, 2012 So Mayuka had a disappointing game in his FIRST start and people want him to leave.... that seems fair....or not.
student Posted 25 December, 2012 Share Posted 25 December, 2012 He'll be a very good player for you, hes probably not got much game time because nigel knew he'd be going and didntbwant him to become a crucial player before

I don't think people want him to leave apart from Glasgow Saint, and we all know that isn't for a footballing reason...

A good choice and I would not start with Lambert today but not because I think he is past it, rather that four games in 10 days is too much for nearly everyone and we will need his height at Stoke (where I'd also play Guly rather than Ramirez). So JayRod today with Ramirez in the hole
